“We spend the winters & spring in Savannah. We love love this sandwich shop. The sandwich’s are so big we have started sharing & ordering a side (always delicious) Great outdoor patio, super gracious staff & to top it off they are dog friendly?❤️”
“The best food in Savannah, Ga! So fresh, so delicious...your taste buds are gonna do a little dance!Vegetarian options: ListedDietary restrictions: Owner is accommodatingParking: Her parking area is small...front and side of building. If it's packed you can usually get a spot at the firearms place next door.”
“Good people, good food, and very friendly. The duck eggs were good and the owner uses her own farm for resources. I really enjoyed it. I was able to bring my dog and eat outside.”
“Love the food. I truly love the waiter Steven is amazing and fun. The waitress Cherisa is an amazing person and super funny. Thank you guys. Food is fresh. Wings are amazing. Great environment. All television sets have their sports and they are willing to put it on anything you'd like if they have it.”
“I got the special steak and it was not cooked the way it was ordered. The waitress noticed immediately and got it corrected. I'll go back but I won't order a steak again. The seafood my wife ordered was excellent. I'll try that next time.”
“This is one of our favorite Savannah restaurants. The food is always Delicious. The menu changes often to keep things fresh. The Staff is very knowledgeable and personable. The Vibes are very Cool.”
“Delicious ice cream! We got off the trolley in time where there wasn’t a line. By the time we got our ice cream & paid there was a line. They had fast service though! The ice cream was soooo good!!”
“We had a great first experience, loved the classic cocktails and charcuterie. We really enjoyed our entrees which were paired with a really nice bottle of wine. Looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu.”
“Food was terrific. Served family style with a group of strangers all around the table that provided very interesting and friendly conversation. Staff would continue to bring out full bowls upon request. Cash only, flat $30 pp includes tea/water and dessert. There is a line, expect a 30-45 minute wait unless you get there really early or right before they stop serving.”
“Excellent experience from start to finish. Service, cocktails and food were outstanding. The table enjoyed the soup special, the mushroom soup, the duck and the short ribs. Highly recommend!”
“The food is delicious. Fresh. Cooked perfectly. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wine list and cocktails very good. Ambiance, casual elegance. My favorite restaurant in Savannah.”
“Great seafood done perfectly: hot and freshly fried, steamed or boiled. Crowd management done efficiently. Staff friendly and helpful. Moving lots of people through quickly but never felt rushed. Very reasonably priced.”
“My husband had a weekend getaway. I found B Matthew in the Savannah Insiders Guide under the best place for brunch. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes with goat cheese and remoulade sauce Delicious. Then I had the Bay Street Scramble with homemade biscuit. Brett had the lumberjack omelet. All was fresh, hot and served very quickly. We really enjoyed it. Definitely must”
“The best muffin I’ve had eaten in my whole life ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ great coffee too,I can’t wait to come back to Savannah to try more things from this ”
“It was our anniversary so we took a 3 day trip to Savannah and ate first night at Old Pink House which is excellent but not as good as Elizabeth's. Second night we dined at The Grey which has a modern vibe and I suspect may appeal more to the younger crowd. Third night we ate at Elizabehth's which was our favorite of the three. On any given night, depending on what you order or what is served that you like (or love) any one of the three could come out on top but our top vote goes to Elizabeth's our favorite Savannah restaurant.”
“Two tides is very cool. The brewery is in an older building and has some funky aspects to it. It located on a great block with Starland Yards attached. Tiny bar on the ground level and some great smash burgers at their food truck.”
“My fella and I visited Ardsley Station the other night and our experience was the best we’ve had in quite some time in Savannah. Our server Cameron was super knowledgeable on cocktails, daily specials, the menu, and ingredients (I have an allergy). He gave us tons of history on the business, the owner, and the building, truly a great experience before the cocktails and food even hit the table. We both had the Blood Orange Margaritas which were fantastic, the crab cake for a starter, he had the Manhattan filet special and I had the bolognese, and the ice cream sandwich for dessert- all top tier, to the point that we both raved about it all days later. Overall a wonderful experience, not just a meal. Can not recommend enough. 5/5 stars.”
“If there a burger heaven, it’s here, it’s here, it’s here…Burgers are basically my love language—finding the perfect combination of soft bun, juicy patty, runny sunny side up, and fresh veggies is like hunting for culinary treasure and somehow this place nails it every time. You can pick anything off the menu blindfolded and will not be disappointed. If you're in Savannah, consider this your mandatory pilgrimage. Actually, scratch that, make it a life requirement. ?”
“This meal was definitely a highlight of our trip. Jefferson provided exceptional service and clearly has a passion for food. We were honestly both skeptical when seeing the menu of the day and making a reservation. However, everything was amazing and so flavorful. We had oysters, pimento, soppresata, biscuits, swordfish, and pork loin. The building is incredible and worth exploring. The ghost stories were an added bonus.”
“We had an 8:30 reservation for dinner. We got our table 15 or 20 minutes late. When we sat down a manager apologised and brought us an appetizer of our choice for waiting! My cocktail was extremely small. I mentioned it to our waiter at the end of the meal, and it was taken off our bill. The biscuits are amazing and when we said how much we liked them, the waiter brought us another whole basket. No only is the food great and the restaurant beautiful, the service was amazing!”
“I am a local. In the past week I have come twice to the 1540 room. The beets, corn bread and catch of the day were so delicious!I love the atmosphere there because even if it gets busy there’s enough room for people to not feel like a table is on top of them. I don’t want to be listening to others conversations, OR…have mine listened too. Fine Dining requires intimate conversations. And often in Savannah when you eat out, the tables are so closely put together that the noise level is elevated and the experience is not so special. So kudos to the 1540 Room for creating a beautiful atmosphere with great food. Should you have a choice, choose Tricia for your server. She gets 6 stars from me:)The second time I went back I made a mistake of not asking specifically for her. And after her top-notch service, everybody else was a 4. But now I’ve learned!”
“Delicious and healthy! A very patient young woman answered our questions before ordering. Great job rehabbing the space and we will plan to go back for happy hour asap.”
“We LOVE Klom Klom!! It’s our go to place for Thai! We live in Bluffton SC and ONLY come here for Thai! Ann, Andrew and Pupae are the BEST!! We walk in and are known by first names and feel like part of the family. The food is fresh made and the most delicious food ever! Run, don’t walk to this place!! Best people and best food ever! We love you guys!!!”
“Slow Fire BBQ at Starland Yard for lunch today with my military friends. It was fantastic, We all found a spot to park on Bull St., walked over and enjoyed a delicious lunch. They scan your credit card or debit card at the front, you walk in and pick what you want to eat. It's charged as you leave. We all enjoyed BBQ today. The Brisket was tender and mouth watering, some one had the burger, and the sliced turkey everyone said it was delicious. Great sides like baked beans, Mac and Cheese, spicy palmetto cheese. IT WAS ALL GOOD EATS.It's all outside eating if you stay, but plenty of tables and chairs. They also have a bar, which we all wanted some beers, but duty calls.Definitely will be bringing back my bride....sooooo good. They also have restrooms, and it is dog friendly. Eat well my friends....eat well!”
“Lovely decor and even though it's a smaller place, they have maximized the space to allow for more seating than I expected. Excellent service and a variety of drinks for every price point. I went with a group for a girls night out and we all had a great time, everyone in the group said they'd be going back!”
“Awesome authentic Jamaican meal today at Jamaica Taste with my family. Owner was super friendly and cooked meals fresh. Jerk chicken meal was delicious and a lot of food for medium size. We were all very pleased with our meal and would highly recommend if you’re looking for some Jamaican food while visiting ”
“The waitress was amazing she knew the menu like the back of her hand and the food was good the atmosphere was downtown so it was busy and alive so I recommended you stop by and enjoy this restaurant for yourself.”
“Wonderful hidden gem in Savannah. Was referred by our concierge at our hotel, and so glad we didn't miss it. Incredible wine list and delicious small plates!”
“Wonderful place, worth even more stars. Their customer service is just great, very friendly staff committed to satisfying the customers. The waiter advised on wine with professional manner, showing his deep knowledge, the wine was just the one. Food is tasty, plates are not full for the price but every appetizer and main course dish tastes delicious. Would recommend this place. Visited twice during 4 days stay. Reserve your table in advance, it’s busy over there, as basically in every good restaurant.”
“Great outdoor place and fantastic addition to the island. Staff and food are great. Parking is really the only issue with the boat ramp right there. Should be a good spot for sports watching as well.”
