“I absolutely love this place! I think it's the best Chinese food in the area. I drive all the way from the south side to Wilmington Island because I like it that much. Don't get me wrong, Chef Wan is really good too, but the family that owns and operates The Panda are just very very nice and the food is delicious! Although I do have a complaint about my egg roll being a little greasy at the bottom last night. Like when I was holding it up right, all of the grease ran down to the bottom of the egg roll. In my opinion there shouldn't be enough grease for any of it to have dripped down to the bottom, but it was so delicious so I just didn't eat the last bite with all the grease on it. As for the atmosphere, this is mostly a takeout kind of place so there's not much atmosphere and only a few small tables and chairs. I had the chicken with mixed vegetables and it was delicious as usual. I also ordered the beef mei fun, which is clear rice noodles with some vegetables and of course the thin sliced super tender beef. Every dish that I've ordered from the panda has been excellent mostly because they cook it fresh when you order it and they make the egg rolls by hand so they are extra good! Insider tip, ask for the spicy Chinese mustard! It will open up your sinuses for sure!”

“The atmosphere at Late Air is exceptional. No matter the season, a chill in the air, or sweltering humidity, the ambiance is Hot and Chill! The wine is like no other in the region sourced from near and far. I am told that in most cases the wineries are visited by the owners and operators Madeline and Colin. This greatly adds to the mystic because if you are lucky enough to be there when they are (which is highly likely), they may tell you a heartfelt story of how that particular wine made its way to Savannah and your palette. The food pairings are of a level of sophistication yet approachable. The menu changes often so make certain to follow them in insta and FB for the current offerings. Cheers!”

“First off, shout out to Tiasha for the amazing service.

What a perfect spot for a double date night in Savannah! The Darling Oyster Bar has such a charming, romantic vibe with its historic Southern charm—dim lighting, beautiful decor, and just the right energy for great conversation without feeling too loud. Our server was attentive and made great recommendations.

We started with the clam chowder all around, and it was absolutely delicious—creamy, packed with flavor, and the perfect comforting start to the meal.

For mains, two of us went with the seared scallops (outstanding, perfectly cooked and flavorful), one got the lobster roll (fresh and satisfying), and the other had the shrimp and grits (huge shrimp and so comforting with that classic Lowcountry touch). Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and hit the spot.

Highly recommend for a special night out—great food, wonderful atmosphere, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Savannah!”

Joe & Vera’s 23 W Broughton St, Savannah Bar • $$
23 W Broughton St, Savannah - 8.84 miles

“By far the best place we ate at in Savannah. 10/10 recommend.

We were walking back to our hotel and stumbled upon Joe & Vera’s. The sign out front said $1 oysters 12-2 and we immediately said yes! We visited Saturday 7/4/26 and the place was lively but not packed, we were able to grab a table in the front by their beautiful windows facing Broughton st.

Shorty and Josh greeted us with a delicious sample of the espresso martini and treated us wonderfully with incredible service the entire time we were there. We never felt like we were inconveniencing them with our requests or questions.

We ordered a dozen oysters (James River), caviar & chicharrones, the hot dog special, a glass of J. Laurens Blanquette de Limoux and a Mignonette Martini. Wow! Everything was phenomenal! Caleb, the chef, really knows what he’s doing and you can tell him and David, the bartender, collaborate on the menus. The oysters come with a perfectly balanced pink peppercorn mignonette which is also used in the martini (must try!!). I’ve never tried chicharrones and caviar together before but will definitely be pairing them again after this. The hotdog was by far the dark horse, we ordered it partly as a novelty as it was their special. Caleb designed it after a low country boil; pimento cheese slathered in the bottom of the buttered and toasted brioche bun, hotdog perfectly grilled and topped with shrimp, corn, red onions, peppers and steamed potato slices sandwiched between the dog and the bread. It. Was. Phenomenal. I’ll dream of that hotdog for days to come.

Caleb even took the time to come out of the kitchen and come over and say hello.

Don’t sleep on Joe & Vera’s! Not a single complaint to be had.”

The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!”
