Nice this place is near the Tybee pier kind of pricey but cool welcoming service
Best lightly dipped chicken strips in hot sauce my wife and I have ever eaten also the seasoned fries were excellent too. Excellent service and atmosphere was for us.
They let people smoke inside and the service is atrocious. I’ve been to better dive bars at many beaches.
Allison best host bartender ever ever
Local dive bar, we went in just for drinks. The staff were friendly, and the drinks were reasonably priced. They were having an event with representatives from the Long Drink company and that was fun. We got to spin the wheel once we bought a Long Drink and we were able to win merchandise. Definitely an old school bar, and strange that they allow smoking inside the bar. The Windrose bar was a great place to stop and get a cold drink after a day at the beach.
This is a cute little place on the beach for a quick bite to eat. I wasn't super hungry so I just had the shrimp which was good but they give you margarine instead of butter and a couple of the shrimps were overcooked and the shells were stuck to the shrimps.
Service was friendly but not always available, though we did sit outside which is in the back of the restaurant.
The atmosphere was friendly and we had a nice conversation with some ladies at a table across from us.
Overall I was hoping for more out of the place but it wasn't bad at all

Great local place near the pier .. Great food at
and best low pricing seen on Tybee .. In that it is cheap and great food for your money . Bartenders are friendly and helpful .. And I have been going here for years when I came to Tybee .. Wish they still had the oysters tho ! But I got the clams and fry basket and was under 10 bucks ! Also the cod sandwich looked real good as the man beside me had that ! They have daily specials for 8 bucks and change .. Best place to get a great bang for your buck and friendly place for a cold one or for me it was to get some good food without being charged a arm and leg .. ??

We had an amazing time at the Windrose. Sarah was our bartender and she was amazingly attentive, friendly and relatable. We made lifelong friends in a single night but more importantly a lifelong favorite bar on Tybee. We’ve been coming every year for a few years and this if the first year we’ve been out without kids. This bar was 100% the vibe we love: relaxed, laid back, and fun!! We will be back next year for sure!!
