David at Ben & Jerry’s in Tybee Island is truly the sweetest! The ice cream was delicious—especially the butter pecan—but what made our visit memorable was his kindness. My toddler was a little cranky and I wanted just a tiny taste, so I asked for a small cone with only a little ice cream. Instead, David generously gave him a full scoop in a big cone for free! It was such a thoughtful, heartwarming gesture. He even made sure we didn’t leave without napkins....read full review
Delicious ice cream! One of the kids in our group has a peanut allergy. Elijah was amazing and made sure to get a scoop out of an unopened carton in the back. He also washed his hands and the scoop in front of us. Such great care by this young man will have us coming back every time we’re on Tybee!

The location has fresh waffle cones and daily specials, making it a fun stop. Although the place is small, it has plenty of soft serve flavors to choose from, and soft serve in a cone on the beach is a special experience. Some customers find the prices a bit high, with a small cone costing around $8, which is more expensive than buying a pint at the store. Despite the early closing time, it remains a lovely spot for a sweet treat, though some think it’s pricey for what you get.
