Chicken Wings near Tyrone

“We came on a Tuesday night for Trivia, as the place we normally go has really let their food go downhill. I hadn't been here in forever, so just about like the first time I came. The restaurant was clean and well lit. Staff was very friendly, and prompt. They had a special deal for $12.99 that included 10 wings, a side, and either a fountain drink, or a draft beer. I got 5 wings tossed in Mango Habanero, and 5 tossed in Spicy Garlic Parm. I didn't find either unusually spicy, but very good. I also got a regular order of fried cauliflower, tossed in Sweet Red Chili Pepper, which was nice and spicy. The cauliflower was the regular size, but would easily feed two as an appetizer, or part of a meal. My buddy got the fish, and said it was very good as well. We ended up taking 2nd place in trivia, and won a gift card! So Tuesdays at 7 is when trivia starts, and it was over about 9PM. It is a family friendly restaurant, so there are children present, if that matters to you, but we enjoyed it, and will definitely be back!“

“I ordered delivery to a truck stop where we were parked in a semi. Although we ordered buffalo wings and got bbq, I'm still giving this location a good rating. The food was hot and very tasty and our delivery man, Desmond, was very nice and respectful. Good job guys! *** side note- the bbq wings were just as good as the buffalo?“

“I stopped through during a lunch run and the food was nice and hot. The manager was training a worker on how to spot counterfeit bills which delayed her from taking my order. The order didn't take long and the cashier was very helpful.“

“Came with family, party of 6 early on a quiet Tuesday. Leah, our server, did a great job with a 3 generation table with appetizers, kid's menu order, drinks from the bar, substitutions, to go boxes. Pretzel bones served quickly, dinner came right on time, drink refills came quickly and bill came when we were ready to depart. Evening went very smooth and we had a very enjoyable dinner. Have been many times and tonight service and the kitchen were firing on all cylinders. Staff was really trying tonight. We will come back again; and ask for Leah.“

“Reconsidered and recommended. Updating my review as the owner actually took ownership and worked hard to turn a problem around and make it right. I had a really good experience on my first visit and a very not so good experience on my second visit and left a review accordingly. The owner tried several times until he got in touch with me, and made sure to make changes and make sure I was happy and satisfied. Still reserving that fifth star for when I go back unannounced and come away still impressed, but for now can't ask for much more than a responsible business owner that cares and tries this hard.“

“Food was good service was good took a little longer than I expected for Hibachi but they are busy I have one problem you can't cook seafood and steak and chicken all together on the same grill you never know how has a reaction to seafood that's my only issue I had“

Soy garlic wings with an extra side of pickled radish is my go-to order but I don't go as often as I'd like because it is on the expensive side and my kids get mad when I go without them. However, they do have a very reasonable lunch special with a solid portion of chicken, coleslaw and fries or rice. Parking is easy there and the staff is very friendly.“

“JJ's NEVER disappoints! Love every single thing from this restaurant. My food is always so good I eat it before I remember to snap a picture! 😂 Today we had wings, gizzards, fried mushrooms and zucchini with German Chocolate cake and banana pudding. It was gone in 15 minute. That's how good JJ's is. Matter of fact we'll probably be back two more times this week, at least. Best home cooked meal, without being a home cooked meal. 💯“

“Much to my surprise, the service was great and the wings some of the best in the area! I like be wing cooked somewhat done but not dried out to the point that it hurts my gums. Dried out refried wings seem to bev the thing around the area. These wings are cooked perfectly! Not overcooked but still crispy. My food was fresh.“

One of the managers were up front & had no problem with helping the cashier rung us up the best price’s for our combos, and he didn’t have an attitude! (No one had an attitude nor was annoyed with us trying to figure out the order.) Then he went to the back. Don’t know if he cooked or if someone else did but it was DELICIOUS and on point!
