The Historic Green Manor Restaurant offers a delightful buffet-style dining experience with fresh, perfectly prepared southern cooking. The charming historic house setting is beautifully preserved, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that feels like dining in someone's home. The service is warm and helpful, making guests feel comfortable throughout their visit. Notable dishes include cheese pasta, squash casserole, and banana pudding. The restaurant also provides a variety of vegetarian options, such as carrots, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a salad bar, all cooked separately from meat or pork. Guests praise the good quality of the food and the reasonable prices, along with the generous portion sizes. The inside of the restaurant has a nice feel, and the peach punch with free refills is a popular choice. Overall, it’s a great spot for those craving southern-style buffet food in a charming setting. The restaurant has an old feel to it with wallpaper and paintings that have an antebellum look to them. The food is southern cuisine style with collard greens, yams, fried chicken, fried fish, mac & cheese, various beans, corn bread, etc. The food was tasty, and there were no complaints there. The service was great. Everyone was attentive, kind and cleared your plates, as the food is offered buffet style, for your next round. The price is set at less than $30 for all you can eat. Definitely worth it if you're craving an old-school southern meal. Good variety of vegetables and beef, pork, chicken and fish. Definitely southern style. Buffet is, of course, self serve and wait staff brings drinks. The house is definitely historic and the ground are inviting. The collards and green beans are seasoned well. Nice to know they don't use pork fat in any of their dishes. The servers are kind and clean behind you quickly. The bathrooms are immaculate!
