Masato Japanese Restaurant

My spouse and I absolutely adore this place! However, recently we've noticed that they've been a bit stingy with their portion sizes, especially when it comes to paying for extra veggies. The staff is still very pleasant, but we think adding some music or a television would really enhance the dining experience. Sometimes it feels a bit too quiet in there, almost like we're dining in a library. The floors could definitely use a good cleaning or maybe even some new carpeting. The overall cleanliness of the place is not up to par, and it seems like it has been neglected over the past few years. Hopefully, they will make some improvements soon and create a better ambiance for their customers.

We’ve eaten here for years but today was absolutely the last time. Our server, a younger blonde and the young lady she was training were both absolutely delightful and kind. Very attentive and polite. The other, dark haired server who was training the middle aged blonde however, was not. She was incredibly condescending to her trainee, rude to the other server at one point and then as we were leaving she looked at my four year old who was waiting on me as I paid our bill and told him “GO!”. After that she told one of the other girls her RBF face came out as we were walking out the door. On top of that, the place is filthy. The carpet is literally matted down with dirt and oil, it smells, things are sticky and the food was questionable at best. We won’t ever be back.

Food is good. I had the teriyaki chicken bowl and spring rolls. The place needs a deep clean . The carpet and tile floors are sticky dirty. The entrance is black with dirt. I only hope the kitchen is cleaner.

Ate a Sunday dinner July 13, 2025. Hands down the best server”Khloe” I ever had. Extremely personable, always checking in, refilling drinks and a pleasure to be around. Go see Khloe at Masato. You will thank me later. Food is very affordable and tastes great.

This place is closed on Sunday! I came for no reason. Hours said it was open. I'll not come back...

We waited an hour for our food at which point we needed to leave because my husband had a meeting. They boxed up our food and we left. Got home and the sushi is missing the spicy mayo on the rolls that have it listed. Waiting an hour for sushi that's not made the way it's supposed to was not a fun way to spend our Wednesday night.

Place looked like a hole in the wall. There was no one in front to seat us. We waited a few minutes and then left. They were not even busy.

The chicken teriyaki dinner is a classic! They allow the option to substitute rice for double veggies and have double salad instead of soup, which helps everyone order something they like. The waitresses were very kind and welcoming. There were 2 large parties which slowed things down a bit, but the team were communicative and made sure we had all we needed during the wait.

There aren’t many places you can have a sit down dinner for less than $15 anymore, and this is definitely one of the best!

1st server was terrible. No personality, complained and walked out.

He msutve gotten overwhelmed or personality problems. But when I want to take my family out to dinner I expect to be treated with the same profession... manager was piss poor. Server was piss poor. But the 2nd server saved the night she didn't the most and I hoped mt family tipped as well as I did

The racist service ive have ever gotten at this place. The woman was in a bad mood came to our table after waiting for about 15 minutes still came unprepared brought our drinks and took the order she brought the food and almost slamed it on the table didnt even asked if she could get us something else or nothing than another family arrived and I could hear her how nice she was being w the white couple asking them if she could bring them something else, she was leaving and i said excuseme ma’am she did not even want to come close to the table until i didnt say nothing so she had to approach us so i could ask for some sweet tea, than as im walking out she gave the ugliest rudest eye contact and i did im not going to lie i called her racist b bc not only was she rude and made me feel uncomfortable but that was pure racisism. Food was delicious I do want to say that and to the manager thank you for your very kind customer service(yes I paid for my food) is not about getting anything free here is the fact that if im gng out to eat and IM PAYING FOR MY FOOD the least i or anybody should receive is good food and customer service. Do better we all going thru difficult times here not just you!
