Steak n cheese sub was great and everything I saw come from the kitchen looked good also. The atmosphere was off but it was a Sunday. I would recommend giving this place a taste. Local beers on tap!
The food was delicious, the service was good. The reason for the 3 star is that the past three times that I went the tables were not clean and either had to be wiped off before we sat down or changed to a different table. Bathrooms were not sanitary, trash full (this was even when the restaurant only had 3 patrons). The waitress sat us next to a spill on the floor with a caution yellow sign up, and no one cleaned it up during our entire visit to the restaurant. Things like this...
Seriously disappointed in this Mellow location as we frequent the one in Macon very often and it is wonderful. Ordered a Caesar salad and a small holy shitake pie. My Caesar salad was pitiful. Lettuce was limp and clearly leftover. Got my pizza and there was a slice with absolutely no cheese, no mushrooms, no toppings of any kind. Just the aioli that gets swirled on top.
