Rico's Tacos - Valdosta

We eat Rico’s pretty regularly on Fridays in Homerville. They are open late enough throughout the year for me to get off work in Waycross and get back to Homerville. We feel like we get good actual authentic food from here, and the service is always so friendly! I can’t go without my Friday Mangonada! Thank you, Rico’s! 💓

not worth the price. Portion sizes are too small for the amount they are charging. I know food trucks are normally more expensive, but this wasn't worth it.

On our days off, our kiddos request Rico’s Tacos. The food never disappoints. Today, 2 of them tried the ramen. They enjoyed their new selection. Fresh food. Arrived piping hot. Tasty items. Definitely a must try.

Portions decreasing weekly like a chipotle.

I ordered the steak tacos, and they were extremely bland. The meat looked like it had been boiled rather than grilled. They only included two cucumber slices, and when I asked for just two more, I was told it would cost an extra $2. I won’t be returning to this place again.

I ordered the Texas rice. The food was cold. The meat was chopped up into small pieces and wasn't seasoned well. They should make some distinction between the meat served on the tacos vs. an entree. On the tacos, they served the chopped up meat. The Texas rice seemed to be an entree from the pictures on the menu. My son and wife were not impressed with the tacos they received as well. I usually don't post but felt the need. The food was really disappointing. My family and I were really looking forward to some Mexican food. I feel this was a waste of money and time. I also left hungry because the portion sizes of the meat were too small. Although, the people were really nice but there is no reason to waste your money.

If it's posted that your food truck will be open until 7, it's very disappointing when you pull up at 6:30 and are told no more orders.

Called in and spoke with the young lady that gave me a bit of information was just wanting to know if I had to order the birria pizza before the late night menu which I had an ample 30 mins to do she told me I had to order before 9. I hang up to decide on it and call back 5 minutes later and no answer then I call back to back 7x and get one answer and no one talking then all my calls got forwarded to voicemail until it was past time to order.Definitely do not like that at all other than that good enough food for me to want to call in ya know..

People are rude and charged me for something I didn’t order

They had a munchies day today 02/27/25 my mother went to get some and she was charged $10 on a tip she DID NOT give out willingly. The boy who rung her up then proceeded to tell her it’s because you didn’t give an option so he took it upon himself to add a tip for a service he himself did not provide and the lady I’m assuming his mother instead of making things right basically ignored the situation…

my husband and I shared a plate of loaded nachos. first time trying them. I'm not much of a person to eat Mexican food because the only time I had it I got food poisoning. needless to say I will DEFINITELY be ordering from them again. We will see y'all this summer at wild adventures for more!

Talk about a major letdown. We went here, strictly based on the reviews. This was the most pathetic version of Mexican food. I think I’ve ever had with such a high rating. Everything had no flavor whatsoever. The drink was made with powder and tasted awful. Sad experience to say the least. The only high note was the salsa. That tasted excellent.
