This is not a favorable review. Wait for dinner 40 minutes. No chairs to wait in the lobby. The inside bar line was long and slow. An employee saw the long line and told those waiting about the outside bar. We ordered a drink at the bar outside on the patio. We ordered a drink outside, but too hot to sit outdoors. The margarita I ordered was served in a styrofoam cup. 🤦‍♀️ Limited seating inside for waiting, so we stood for 30 minutes. Although, the restaurant had a large abandoned bar/oyster bar with no seating. The sign on the ladies restroom door said “ excuse the smell we are working on it” . Our dinner took 30 minutes to arrive. We ordered Salmon and Snapper. On a scale 1-10 it was a 3. Food awful.

First of all we ordered drinks the young lady brought us out four different sprites cause there was black stuff floating in all of them second the place smells like a out house in the desert red flag right but hey we kept pushing our luck I ordered grouper basket the cook left went to a dumpster behind long John silvers and got my fish it’s not grouper btw half the grits was fine the other half was chunky mayo oh forgot the fish dip it was like eating dry rice but if I got to say anything at all everything we tried to order they was out of its bad place to eat I ask about the catch of the day she said sorry we out at 5 when they opened and the table beside me order it after I ask for it guess I was lucky it was probably zebra steaks on a bed of turtle neck stew

Let”s go in reverse order.
Atmosphere: 6 PM. Nothing special. People begin to come in. No wave. Maybe Saturday night starts slower than Friday happy hour!
Service: Our server was tentative as most restaurant servers. Nothing extra.
Food: Caesar salad was a disappointment. Romain lettuce was definitely plentiful. A few stale homemade croutons (not eatable), very minimal parmesan cheese, and dressing.
The highlight; the Berta’s pizza with added pepperoni was a hit. Recommended for both vegans or meatans, if you want to pay a higher price for pizza. Beverages at restaurants are always expensive. Probably will not return unless it happens to be a live music nite. Drinks and appetizers only.

The service was great. Our server was on the spot with everything we could need. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, but the lighting is poor. If you have vision issues, you'll need to use your phones flashlight to read anything.

As far as the food goes being Italian. This is not Italian. Our group ordered a few appetizers with one of them being calamari. The calamari was horrible. The other appetizers were marginal, and you can find better in the frozen food section when buying groceries. The pizzas ordered were good but not Italian. The tortellini was overcooked with a poor quality sauce. Do not go here expecting good Italian food or the atmosphere of an Italian restaurant. It's neither. But definitely go if you like overpaying for food you can find in the frozen section. Fazzolis is better Italian than Berta's Pizza kitchen.

My recommendation for the restaurant is to stop over seasoning the food. Learn how to cook Italian and what real Italian dishes are supposed to look like.

I was really excited to try Berta's Pizza Kitchen. This place had every opportunity to make gorgeous pizzas but the pizza was just okay. I expected elevated pizza for this level of dining and for the prices they charge. The pizza lacked seasoning and the sauce to cheese ratio was way off. So much cheese it made that beautiful crispy crust soggy. The pizza also was crying out for some seasoning. I would happily pay $20+ for a pizza, just not this one, so unfortunately I probably won't return. The Caesar salad was delicious. I love the pickled red onion. The atmosphere is nice. Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive, and pleasant. If you're looking for drinks and live music, then this place is great. If you're looking for fine dining level pizza, this is not it.

Service was fast but not up in your face. Super respectful to customers. Brought our 1yrd and it was so nice to have high chairs that actually buckle and aren’t caked in food and muck from other kids. Food was out relatively quickly and was delicious. Calamari was a bit on the rubbery side so wasn’t my favorite.

They are the best, the staff is top notch. Customer service is on point. My favorite pizza was the veggie berta s pizza. We came late .and they serve us like a king and queen. I will definitely make several trips there. ...... Please don't hesitate to go and have fun with family and significant other. I'm from NY and this is the closest place by far that make me forget NYC ?. Sooo yeah go enjoy eat and have fun.
