Captain D's is a restaurant that offers a varied menu, including seafood dishes like shrimp and fish. The food is described as delicious, especially the lobster roll, lobster bites, and chicken tenders. While the overall experience is enjoyable, some customers have noted that the service can be slow, as there may be delays even when the restaurant is not busy. The restaurant is praised for its cleanliness, with the staff diligently cleaning the dining area, although some booths may be dirty. The tea is fresh but could be colder. Many appreciate the nostalgic feeling of the place, as it still resembles what it was like in the past. The restaurant may cater more towards drive-thru customers, with the dining room appearing well-used and the staff not always making customers feel particularly welcome when dining in.
