Update: the food and service was great! Our drinks were great as well. Everyone loved their pizzas; toppings seemed really fresh. The server was great and checked on us regularly, even though they were packed.

Foods okay, if they're busy, plan on being there a while.

Why didn’t I know Mellow Mushroom had delicious pizza? Well I know now. I ordered the holy shiitake pizza and added Italian sausage. First let me say that the crust steals the entire show. It’s crispy and soft….so so so good. The toppings on this pizza are delicious. The whole thing is like a symphony of flavors. I’ve probably ordered this 3 times in the past two weeks 😅.

The pizza was tasteless. The lights were too dim. The lights came on when I was about to leave the restaurant. I asked for parmesan cheese and never received the parmesan. Parking is horrible. The manager is rude and condescending.

They were not busy. We were seated right away. We waited 20 mins and nobody came to the table so we left.

It took forever for the food to arrive and the dough on the calzone wasn’t cooked and the bearded man in the ripped jeans was just ordering people around and not taking care of customers as a waiter but just flitting around. Never going back

They've updated the restaurant and now the bar area is more prominent. It's a bit dimmer inside, so if you have trouble seeing it might be an issue for you.

Vegetarian options: You can get most of the menu made for vegans as well as vegetarians.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options and can accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Recommended dishes: Beer Cheese, Veg Out Pizza, Pretzels

I order to go here regularly and there have been a few issues here and there but this latest time the spinach dip I picked up was ice cold, I called about it and I was told it was cold because I picked it up 20 minutes ago. I had to microwave it for over a minute just to get it warm. My complaint was basically brushed off after that, just being asked if there’s anything else I needed. I’d rather travel further to another Mellow in Macon just for the better service.

Tonight at 8:22PM my family and I enter the restaurant and wasn’t greeted and there were three employees standing at the take out station. No one walked over to seat us or even acknowledged us but simply looked at us as we entered the restaurant and continued folding boxes and talking. This was by far horrible customer service.

Maybe it's better if you eat there, but I ordered the holy shiitake for pickup and it looked nothing like the ones I've had from other locations. No parmesan shavings, no sauce drizzle, seemed dried out or old not very cheesy and barely any mushrooms. I really should have had them remake it but I didn't have time. They put two cups of thick sauce on the side that I assume might have been the drizzle they left off but it was so thick it could not be drizzled on the pizza.

My wife and I were there on Tuesday the 19th and loved the remodel restaurant. The Bar is fabulous and the pizza is always good.
