Delicious food friendly staff!
Awesome Service
We were meandering the backroads of Georgia today taking our time and taking in the beautiful scenery. Around 11:00 we started getting hungry and after checking the Google reviews we settled on Lou's on Liberty.
We got there before the serving line opened up. Already patrons were in and waiting. We knew this was going to be soul food at its finest. While waiting we got to meet Gary, one of the co-owners of Lou's. What a fantastic guy. Lots of fun chatting with him.
Finally, the line was open. I move pretty fast, but several people got up to the serving line before I did.
I ordered the fried chicken and selected cream corn, blackeyed peas, yams and corn bread. My wife ordered ribs, cream corn, butterbeans and hoe cake. We were in heaven. Our conversation stopped while we took in some delicous food. This is elbows on the table kind of eating. You know what I mean? You pick up that delicious fried chicken and you know you are not going to put it down until you have eaten every last morsel off the bone.
Crystal H. (there are two Crystals working here) waited on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our tea glasses were kept full - a warm and kind hearted person who made us feel very much at home.
You have a ton of dessert options, but we were so full afterwards that we didn't have room for dessert. But, we did get to try some cookie samples, and any choice would have been excellent.
The menu is posted outside on a chalkboard and inside at the front of the serving line.
This was a delightful dining experience, and one that we will remember for a very long time. Thanks to everyone working there. We had a blast meeting the team and enjoying the food.

My grandma and I randomly decided to stop here after our initial lunch destination was closed. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The chef made some of the best sandwiches we've had! If you're in Waynesboro and want a great lunch, you need to come to Lou's. We will definitely be coming back!

On the menu, I ordered a 10 piece 😋 of wings, no flats, however, only got 8 wings and 4 flats and the Grease was old and I wanted to dine in, but was given food to go , after, leaving a 15% tip.

Food was not good.
Burger meat was off. Kids grilled cheese was a piece of bread with cheese folded in half for $7. Didn’t have chips for my sandwich so they offered fries but still up charged me. Found out they didn’t have pickles until after the food came out and I asked for them on my burger. Sandwich bread and buns definitely weren’t sourdough as they were described.
Server was nice and attentive though.

We took a chance and stopped for lunch on a Saturday. Menu was sparse but the food was delicious!! We both had the American burger and fries, one of us had loaded fries. Everything was delicious.
I had been in search of liver and onions for a 78 year old blind man john that I take care of that wanted it so bad and one of the head men Gary helped me out and made sure i got some and John says it was fabulously delicious 😋 and filled his craving from a long time of not having it and will be getting me to get him more. and ive had other decadent items in there and enjoyed them all. awesome job yall thank u soo much
Very disappointed in the wing special and the lack of meat associated with the wings. I am not sure where you found such small wings but highly recommend changing the video you post on fb for false advertisement to avoid negative reviews such as this one.
Awesome spot for lunch! Everyone was super nice and friendly.
Food was hot and delicious real authentic home cooking in a cafe setting.
