“Been in the area for about 8 months and we have tried several Mexican restaurants here. La Estacion was recommended to us by some locals we met out and about and is by far the best we’ve tried so far. The food was good and came out fast. The staff were friendly and the service was terrific. It was refreshing to experience this restaurant, reminds me of good food and service that was prevalent pre-Covid, before most restaurant’s quality of food and service fell off of a cliff.“

“Outstanding mexican food made absolutely fresh! The picture is of the Burrito de Carnitas which is my favorite. They also have tacos, burritos, tortas and other mexican favorites. You order at the counter, find a table and your food will be ready shortly fresh hot and very tasty!“

“Another great review for Tacos Mi Veracruz. The wife and I had a late lunch today. We were greeted quickly with a smile and given menus as we were seated. The drink order was taken and delivered along with chips and salsa (Oriana did a great job). I had the Texas Fajita and my wife had the Steak Quesadilla. Both came out from the kitchen piping hot and were plated beautifully. You're also given three different sauces to try if you wish. They were all very good, as was the food!! Everything was delicious!! We'll definitely be repeat customers.“

“I ordered the beef and bean nachos and made it a supreme with onions and cilantro. I asked to have the chips put in a separate bag because I had errands to run and didn’t want the cheese to make the chips soggy. Well I get home and there’s no cheese to make anything soggy. The key ingredient to nachos is the cheese sauce. i also ordered a jarrito. My total was over $18 dollars. How I’m not sure. Why would I not want cheese on nachos. I could order a taco salad if that’s the case. I tried calling but no one answered. I wasn’t even hungry after this disappointment. Wasted money, over charged, order prepared wrong. “They don't speak English, but they try very hard to understand you. They are extremely nice, customer service is great. Food is cook fresh straight from the grocery store that's actually apart of the restaurant. Food is great, also you can see them cook it yourself. Me and my family love this store/restaurant.“

“What a refreshing Surprise!! We stopped here to eat lunch while we were in town and were blown away by the food! It was all superb! The Al Pastor traditional tacos with the Pineapple sauce were awesome! Juicy…tender, full of flavor and life! And the shredded Chicken empanadas were one of a kind! I’ve never tasted an empanada like these before. The crust was fantastic! It wasn’t too greasy or heavy. It was almost like a light flakey crust with so much flavor. My entire family’s tastebuds rejoiced! I can’t recommend it enough!“

“We have been getting the tacos (carne asada) here for years now. We've tried a few other places around town, but these are just our favorite! The tacos are a good size and full of meat. The meat is chopped into good size bites and isn't super thin like I've encountered at other places. Their salsa verde with plenty of lime, onion, and cilantro makes these perfection!My only complaint is that I tried the horchata for the first time and it was a disappointment. It was not a great flavor and a bit gritty. That's ok. I will still drive from Sharpsburg for their tacos.“

“Very friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal very much. The salsa we were served initially was spicier than I like, but upon my request they brought out the mild version. There was no drink menu. I do wish there had been one at our table or included with our menu.“

I haven't eaten anything there that hasn't been delicious! My most recent recommendation, the chicken quesadilla. They also offer chips and salsa. The chips crumble/melt in your mouth! The best type of chip one could ask for :) The prices are competitive and they offer daily specials. A plate is around $10 and that includes, for example, 2 tacos, beans and rice and of course, chips and salsa. They offer dine in and take out. The dine in seating is like a fast food restaurant. They offer fountain soda to drink, no alcohol.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicapped parking in front and the sidewalk as well as the restaurant and tables can all be accessed in a wheelchair.“

“El Ranchero has the best food of any of the Mexican restaurants in the area. It's an older restaurant, and has almost a good dive bar feel. Recently, the service has been all over the place and is far less diligent than it once was. Great food and drink, but a gamble with the service.“

“I appreciate Chylacas for their Karaoke night! It has to be a pain for the wait staff to navigate through the chaos.But they are always nice.If I eat there ,I get 3 chicken tacos ,no onion.They are very good..Parking: The lot is free to park in but busy on Sat eve.The lot is also kind of odd shaped going around the building.Its on Bullsboro so u have to pay attention coming towards town.You could miss the right turn into the lot.“
