“We come to Carrollton a couple times a year. We stop at the Donkey every time we come to Carrollton to visit our buddy Mark. It’s always great food and service. Waiter this visit was a pleasure to deal with. He was very personable and funny.“

“I had the nachos with beef but the cheese was non existent so I had to take the cheese dip we ordered and pour it on the nachos to actually have cheese. After that they were good but only when I used something we had purchased for the table for chips. My husband had a steak fajita taco salad and said it was good and had a good flavor and the steak was tender. My brother and my mom had the fajitas for two and they said they were flavorful but my mom eats like a bird so not sure if it would have been enough for two regular adults. They did say they were disappointed that there weren't more onions and peppers in it but honestly I tried the refried beans and they horrible and I love refried beans, the rice was just ok.
My niece had the Hacienda Special and she added steak to it and she said it was very good and flavorful.
The server was a very attentive, the restaurant was busy and not very loud in there and the music was low enough so we could hear each other talk. The salsa was very good and my nice said the margaritas she ordered were excellent!
I guess I'm taking a star off because of my nachos, its my review so that's how I feel. I will go back because the place was very nice and clean and they were very accommodating for my electric wheelchair, which by the way went into the bathroom with plenty of room so kudos on them for being handicapped friendly.“

“I have always enjoyed the food there. The service is great. There was 2 problems they didn't have any ice which wasn't a big problem. The other thing is they speak very little English and I speak very little Spanish. But not a problem if I go with my boyfriend who is from Mexico.“

“My favorite Mexican Restaurant. The best baked Chile Relleno I've ever had. Even the kids' fries are delicious. Love everything I've ever had there.“

“Staff was really nice. I got the lengua quesadilla Plato. Along with Tres Leche. The beans and rice are absolute mid like the beans aren’t even smashed up or anything. They look like canned pinto beans. The quesadilla is absolutely fire though in their green sauce is very very good. I don’t usually eat the green sauce, but there’s is delicious. I usually go to a different place but this place will absolutely do as my number two.“

“I've tried birria tacos from several places here recently because my go to place has been closed for renovations. Until I found TacoKeetoo I haven't been too satisfied with the other options around (keeping in mind I just go by taste, not how they are suppose to taste.) TacoKeetoo is inside a small market that sells a lot of nice items including baked goods, desserts, soap, drinks, etc. The restaurant side itself is small and has a few tables and booths. The staff is very friendly and the wait isn't too long. Compared to the prices I was paying elsewhere TacoKeetoo is less expensive and I feel the quality is absolutely amazing. The tacos themselves are moist and full of flavor as is the broth/soup that comes with them. I hate to admit it but I'm addicted. Unfortunately they are closed by the time I'm off work during the week so it has to be a weekend treat.“

“I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about, nobody gave me a rude or weird vibe. Not when I walked in, browsed through the store, not when I viewed their delicious menu and ordered or sat down to wait for my food to be prepared. Only thing to be aware is their menu has been updated a little, they no longer have birria BUT the steak I got was delicious. All the food ordered was delicious as a matter of fact and its good quality. Everyone's experience can be different but you need to be patient this isn't Taco Bell or Applebee's that doesn't mean they are being rude.“

“Whenever I go there, I always get the barbacoa rice bowl, and it's very good, with a spice spice level for somebody who likes spicy food. I've had a bite of a friend's carne asada rice bowl and that was pretty nice too, but it didn't have the same luck as the barbacoa.
Besides for the add-ons that have prices listed next to them (like queso), the add-ons are free with the menu item. I've asked for add-ons until the lettuce was poking out the side of the lid-- you love to see it.“

“One of the best places I have ate at in Carrollton . Such a hidden gem . If there is a huge bin on tamales by the register grab some ! The best food I’ve eaten in a long time and I’ve ate out alot . A must try . You will thank me when you do !!!“

“I work during the day and then go to night school classes at UWG. I normally go eat at the UWG dining hall before class but decided to switch things up. Googled the closest mexican resturaunt and found The Border. I had the chicken Soup and the street corn. It was delicious. The service was exceptional. I went into my class happy and focused.The only thing that was weird for a first time visitor is that the entrance is downstairs and that area was closed. Just go up the stairs and enjoy a good meal.“

“I travel every week for work. I eat at a lot of Moe’s but lately it has been getting more difficult to do. This location however is the absolute best location in the south eastern United States. It is clean. It is well managed. It has wonderful customer service oriented staff. I will make it a point to visit this location again. Thank you for the great lunch and great service.“
