I used to like going here and this has been maybe a year or so ago I had been debating on whether I should right this review but then I told myself I wouldn’t but every time I pass by I can’t help but to think of my food that I threw away because the lady who rung up my meal and also help fixed my meal kept licking her fingers to do everything she was trying to open the gloves to add a side to my meal then when putting my food in the bag she licked her fingers to open the bag I couldn’t get it out of my head and she was friendly so I didn’t want to right this review but I mean since they first opened up into my last experience the food quality had really went down to please teach your staff the importance of cleanliness and practices not to do putting a finger in your mouth to open things is not sanitary 🤮
Got to go, three meats combo, meat was all decent but very mediocre, price wasn’t bad and guys were nice inside.
Can say their sauce was pretty solid, chicken was flavorless in my opinion, ribs and sausage were little better.

First time here. We ordered and got 2 waters with our meal, (Red Solo Cups), we paid a dollar and change each for them. We paid cash to avoid the credit card surcharge.
We took our seats. We waited roughly 20 minutes and they brought the food out. It was in to go containers fit with plastic cutlery. We ordered pulled pork and a half barbeque chicken. The food was excellent! The server offered barbeque sauce and brought it over, which was nice. There was also barbeque sauce in cups that came with the food.

IM PRETTY SURE THOS PLACE IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS!!
First time here, pretty picky about my pulled pork, if I get a bad bite I'm done. I got the pulled pork sandwich (with cole slaw) platter with mac n cheese and a coke.
The sandwich was huge! The guy brought out different sauces to try, the sweet was my favorite! The sandwich was huge and the Mac n cheese I hardly touched because the sandwich was so good I couldn't put it down! Talked to some other patrons about what they were having because it looked so good. They were return customers who raved about the ribs, wings and pork!
The decor is cute, but I will be back 10/10 for the food!

My wife and I dropped in here on a whim, and were surprised how good it was. We both had pork sandwiches, mac cheese, and they were both great. The pork was juicy and the BBQ was excellent. I recommend the spicy sauce.
I mentioned I like Brunswick stew and would try it next time, and the owner brought me over a sample. It was excellent as well. I'm definitely getting some next time. I'm excited to try the ribs too.
All around great food and great service!

Finally got a chance to eat the ribs without an insanely intense amount of hunger. The ribs were just OK to me not high in salt which is good. The rub they use is good. Just nothing exciting. I've had better. The service was mediocre. I've had worse. The atmosphere was cool. Their hot bbq sauce was delicious. The baked beans are basic beans and that's the same for green beans. The Brunswick stew/hash is good. No wait for a table but I did have to wait 15-20 minutes for food.

Our favorite BBQ place closed and we have never tried Barbecue Bears. Tonight we tried it 10 minutes before they closed. we got half chicken plate with stew and fried okra and 1/2 pound of pulled pork. it was all very delicious! They were very nice and inviting even at closing time. We might have found our new BBQ joint.
Me and my girlfriend just ate for the first time at barbecue bears and we have never had such good barbecue there pulled pork and ribs are outrageously good and we will definitely be back on fridays for there brisket!!!!
We went here with about 20 to 22 senior citizens from the barrel county senior center. So everyone ordered a different meal. There was not one complaint about the food. Everything was fresh, great tasting, and everyone had smiles. This place is probably the best barbecue place you can get in town. They also got excellent catfish and their hush puppies are out of sight! So if you’re looking for a good place to eat for barbecue, seafood, even a burger give this place a try you will not be disappointed.
