It’s sad to see good reviews but get here and see their hours don’t match what they have on their website, the maps, and on their door. Closed and no sign of new hours.
Fantastic ice cream and extremely friendly workers
Worker look unhappy never smile .. didn't wear gloves when scooping ice cream. ... but ice creams are good.
Very delicious and love the vibe
$4.75 for a single scoop is the cheapest item on the menu.....
A Decade-Defining Scoop: My Visit to an Exceptional Creamery
As someone who has spent the better part of the last ten years exploring fine dining and hidden culinary gems, I can confidently say this: I’ve just experienced the best ice cream I’ve had in a decade.
From the moment I stepped into this charming creamery, I was struck by the sense of calm that blanketed the space. It wasn’t just the soft pastel hues or the gentle hum of conversation—it was the warmth and peace that seemed to infuse the very air. It felt like stepping into a little haven, where time slowed down and every detail was crafted with care.
The real star, of course, was the ice cream. Luxuriously creamy, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and boldly inventive in flavor, each scoop was a revelation. It’s rare to find a place that so masterfully combines texture, flavor, and freshness—but they’ve done it. I found myself pausing after each bite just to savor the artistry.
What truly elevated the experience, however, was the incredible service. Olivia, who helped us was the epitome of hospitality—genuine, attentive, and clearly passionate about her craft. She treated our visit not as a transaction, but as an opportunity to create joy. The pride she took in preparing our order was evident, and the result was an outstanding presentation that made the moment all the more special.
In an age where quality and care often take a backseat to speed and scale, this creamery is a shining example of what happens when you lead with love, craft, and kindness. It’s not just a place to grab a treat—it’s a place to experience something memorable.
If you're a lover of ice cream—or simply in search of a peaceful, soul-nourishing stop—this spot deserves a visit. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.
The best!
Good place for a small treat, or big treat....
Excellent ice cream, and great customer service.
I have always enjoyed Cast Iron's ice cream and liege waffles. They added in Belgium waffles and those are delicious too. Yesterday I went in and they had dairy free - vegan chocolate ice cream ! ! ! Oh my goodness, it was so good ! ! ! But all their flavors are really good ??❤️ my husband loves the butter rum, coffee and cookies and cream.

Love this place. Went on a busy weekend night with 2 others. Poor girl had 9 people come in behind us; she definitely needed a helper. 10/10 will be back.

Small place on the corner near “downtown” Winder that is quaint, clean and fairly priced. The ice cream was smooth and delicious. My only complaint was that my absolute favorite - peaches and cream - had such a mellow flavor that the peach was overpowered by the cream and it basically tasted like really good vanilla ice cream. The choc was rich and yummy. The chai was a bit overpowering and spicy (to the point my kid got tired of the flavor before finishing his one scoop). The strawberry was great.
They also offer floats, sundaes and have lots of toppings to add. We were served quickly. Staff was friendly. I definitely recommend coming if you find yourself nearby! I am looking forward to coming back to try butter pecan when it is back on the menu!
