The food was very fresh and very tasty! Just wish the portions were a little larger. But I will be back
2019 Update: Not sure what happened to the quality here. I ordered tonight and all of my food was horrible. The steamed pot stickers were falling apart and soggy. The egg roll was limp and greasy. The worst was the general tsao chicken. I ate two pieces with minimal chicken and they were extremely crunchy. I checked the other pieces and they were all overfried and completely breading, seriously nothing by skimpy strands of meat inside balls of crunchy over-fried breading, doused in sauce. I called the store and the lady that took my order answered so I explained the situation with the chicken. She patronized me and said “the general tsao is fried and has breading” so I responded “I know what general tsao is, look at my order history, I’ve ordered from you a ton.” She then proceeded to tell me that they don’t make it in-house, they buy it pre-made by machine and sometimes the pieces have a lot of breading. I told her I must’ve gotten the bottom of the batch because it’s literally all breading and I can’t eat this, it’s disgusting. The line stayed quiet for 30+ seconds so I said “hello” and she responded. I asked if she could do anything or am I just supposed to eat the fried rice and throw away the rest of the order. She said she could give me 5% off of my next order. At this point i was frustrated with her attitude and the fact that I was still hungry with no resolve, so I said no thanks and hung up. As you can see from my previous review I was always pleased with this place but tonight was just horrible and the lack of customer service was a deal breaker for me. Now that I know they’re just adding sauce to reheated freezer food, I’ll find a new local spot.I’ve ordered from here for years with no issues. The delivery is pretty consistently around 30-45 mins. The food is good and fresh and the sauces don’t get all gelatinous after a few mins. General tsao isn’t too breaded but they are heavy on the sauce so take note of that. The ladies that answer the phone are sweet and the delivery persons are usually young college kids. They conveniently keep your card in the system, you just have to give them a certain amount of digits when you call back in which makes it very convenient to order from the road so my food arrives as I do.
Health score of 34 stay away. Dont trust recent 5 star reviews, trust the bad ones
They served me Old spoiled Shrimp in my Shrimp fried rice. NO telling how many people got that bad batch of Shrimp. Then the woman at the front counter had a attitude!!!! Very horrible customer service!!! Needs to be shut down with all the 1 star reviews!!! Unprofessional and horrible food!!! Also posted a pic of food with spoiled food spit out on the side. Smelled horrible like food set out for some days after just a hour. LEAVE THIS PLACE ALONE!!!!!!
I love this place, the food is excellent, unique atmosphere, good service!!😎
Chicken smelt weird (spoiled), not a pleasurable experience with people getting sick at the dinner table. Will not order from here again.
Good was so so. Mostly breading, not a lot of meat. Meh
Good food at a good price, and the server was really kind.
I stopped by to have sizzling rice soup I was very disappointed. Nothing about my experience sizzled at the restaurant. The waiter was rude and I had no dinnerware so I had to eat soup with a thin plastic spoon. I'll be looking for another restaurant to have soup at.
Bad sweet and sour chicken worst I've ever had!!!!!!!!!! It was hard and chewy!!!!!!
Restaurantji Recommends
Edit to this: I sent their Facebook page a direct message restating this below. They posted the most unprofessional written note and caption regarding being a family owned business, one person working the front, and to stop complaining about service.
Great food and a beautiful little entertainer. Love her and the bubble gum.
My Dad and I went on Valentine's Day.The place was empty and I can see why this is a place that only cares about take out orders! Absolutely no customer service inside other than take order. It is clean but sloppy . Booth piled up with toys others with dishes and boxes. No nice atmosphere at all!! The table has plastic food containers to hold sauces etc..ugly. I remember when this place was nice had candles, a flower in vase 😊. I was so embarrassed I brought my Dad here. Although the children were mostly quiet ,one was riding a bike inside! The food was awful! The worst Asian food I have ever had.I was only very hungry .I had veggies with Bean curd. The veggie mix was obviously frozen and the sauce seemed bottled no fresh spice at all. I had fried ricerice w had no eggs or veggies it was literally fried plain rice. Dad's lemon chicken was also previously frozen breaded chicken and very dry. We were never ask if we needed anything even once! The only lady there was watching two children who seem to stay there always, and her only concern was with delivery and looking at receipts.I ordered tea which was terrible. Two bags floating in warm water..it never even changed color beyond yellow. When we left the lady was on video chat she rang us out and hardly looked up and kept talking on the phone... sad to say horrible experience overall . I will never go back and I can see why it's empty inside ! And with food like that I'm sure they only get one time delivery.
The food was really good. Had a large variety on their buffet. The only problem is that the food on the buffet could have been hotter. It was warm. That's why 4 stars.
Unfortunately, we read the reviews after ordering 😞. We received the smallest egg rolls I've seen in my entire life. I found 4 hairs in my food! The sweet and sour chicken was 90% grease. The sweet and sour shrimp tasted like chicken. The lady on the phone caught an attitude. Their lo mein isn't as good as other restaurants.
