Very nice place to eat. The staff and local people are very friendly. It's located in a downtown area with lots of other restaurants and some have live music. The menu is unique and has something for everyone. There are a few good vegetarian dishes on the menu that I like. The drink menu alone is worth coming to visit this place. I will definitely come back. There is more on the menu that I need to explore.

I visited Atlanta over the weekend and had a fantastic experience at Salty Factory Pub. The Traditional Burger was absolutely delicious—so good that I had to come back for a second visit! The service was great. I’m already looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Shady business practices to pinch pennies. Their Marguerita pizza was 15.99. Their “Italian” pizza, which had prosciutto, was 17.99. I asked to add prosciutto to the Marguerita. They said no problem and when the bill came they charged $25.99 and refused to edit the bill.

I want to put in a good word for these folks at Salt Factory. I visited on a slow-ish Monday evening by myself with our two big dogs. I wasn’t sure if they would let me sit in the outdoor area with them, but they didn’t hesitate to seat me. Thank you to the manager who even brought out little water bowls for the dogs. The food was incredible and the wait staff very accommodating. (Note: be sure to have physical payment on hand; I only had ApplePay so had to step inside with the dogs to pay at the counter.)

Wait for a hour and half. Which is fine but told us so many times we would be seated in 15 minutes. Really killed it for us. Apps were good and order a burger. Came out literally raw. Made us a new one, but only gave us half of a fixed burger and ended up charging us for two burgers. Lol.
Definitely go to the other salt. Not worth it.

Upon arrival we were told the wait would be 20-30 minutes, an hour and a half later we finally got seated. We ordered burgers well done which all came out as raw hamburger meat. Our friend split a burger, one of them ate half of the burger (again by this time we had waited over two hours), the other sent hers back. They reheated her HALF a burger and brought back the half of burger (didn’t even remake it and give her a whole one) We were given a hard time when we sent the burger back. GROSS. Our other friend ordered a bacon burger and the bacon was completely raw when it came out. Another friend ordered a burger with sweet potato fries which came. Nothing was comped or discounted. There is plenty of other places in downtown Woodstock. Waitstaff is rude and kitchen is inconsistent. Katy avoided us once we complained and didn’t try to resolve our issues at all. She was rude once we sent back our checks which all were wrong (she charged us for two burgers we didn’t even order). Again, I would never return here.

What you'd expect from a gastropub atmosphere. The patio is nice at night.
Unfortunately an outdated menu led me here, because the fish tacos I wanted aren't offered any longer. That being said, the calamari and fish and chips are respectable. The latter is MASSIVE. I split an order with my date and we were shocked to find it's literally 2 entire big plates full. So the price point isn't as bad as it looks, at least for that dish.

Salt WAS a favorite of ours. Every date night, every time we went up town, and every time we we had family in town, Salt was the destination. However, not anymore. We loved salt. I’m so upset of what it has turned out to be. We went to Salt not that long ago and had horrible food. Since it was not what we were use to, we went back again tonight since my mother in law was in town, to have a nice dinner. The service was slow and our waitress didn’t know the answers to any questions about the specials. I had one of their seasonal cocktails which the waitress assured me wasn’t sweet which was super sweet and I couldn’t drink it. I pushed it aside and I opted for a bottle of wine to share with the table, which I ordered before we ordered our entrees. Our entrees came out BEFORE the bottle of wine did! In the meantime, my mother in law went to the bar since it was taking so long to get a glass which she somehow was DRUGGED. (She only had a glass and a half and couldn’t even stand afterwards which is completely abnormal to say the lease!) my husband and I had the special NY Strip steak which we ordered rare. My husbands was medium rare and mine was medium well. We didn’t even eat it. We had a $352 bill which on top of it all, the waitress added gratuity!!! Left Salt with actually great appetizers (calamari and mussels) but not eating entrees, left half a bottle of wine since it came out so late, and a second bad experience in the last month. Very disappointed!! Stay away until they figure out how to go back to the way they use to be or get drugged!!!!
