Sunset Grille Lakeside Restaurant - Lake Allatoona

My 1st visit and we plan on returning. This grill iverlooks the lake and serves your standard bar fare. Air conditioned bar with small dining room inside. Lots of outdoor covered patio sesting also available.

Came here on a Sunday 11 am. Promptly sat outdoors, server Christina was very attentive and got us well hydrated and fed. The burger is a double patty and wasn't overcooked which is already a great start. The rum punch came in a little bucket and that was the drink that kept giving. My skinny margarita was good. The musician started playing at 1 pm. Really pleasant lunch and we plan on making more trips here. I may pop in Thursdays to watch the talent that may show up for Open mic!

Always a great time...this was no exception. Superior lake side restaurant, extremely courteous attentive staff. Food quality is great, not the overly fried food served just to put something out like a lot of places. Fair portion sizing, quality beverage selection.

We made reservations given we were a group of 8 and we arrived about 6pm. No waiting time. Our server was excellent, attentive, we were celebrating a birthday. The manager came over and complimented a free drink to our Brithday gal Tracy. The DJ came over and asked Tracy her favorite songs to play for her to celebrate. It was warm but a great breeze from Lake Allatoona, great views. Our food was excellent well seasoned, many in our group ordered the Mahi tacos, I started with the Calamari as an appetizer, fresh tender. The fish and chips were tasty. The salad with chicken was also good.
I would recommend 100%. I will be back with my husband. Great vibe!

Ordered nachos and they was not correct so sent them back and then they forgot about them and played like it was funny.
Maybe take time out to make sure your customers are taken care of instead of BS!

Great food, awesome server. Funny and made our whole crew feel welcome and kept our drinks full. The food was on point. Everything at the table was shared and none of was anything other than great. My buddy took us here and it's one of their favorite places and I can def see why! Def recommend trying if your near the lake.

I had a Meet5 group meeting and our waitress Abby worked herself hard to keep everyone as happy as she is and well fed while being relaxed with a great beverage. The food selection is great, the views are fantastic, and it's a nice change of pace just to watch the people come and go. From what I understand the manager or owner is from SoLa, so is I... AAAAAeeeeeeee! 😁

Friendly, knowledgeable and well trained servers. Food and view of lake was good.

Enjoyed good food and great service.we didnt have to wait for a table, All food and drinks came out quickly, and our waitress came around often to ask if we needed anything. She also helped us run everything from our table inside as it started downpouring rain on us so we could eat our meal dry. I enjoyed my mahi fish tacos and coconut mojito! We will be back again!

Went for Thursday Night Open Mic and had a wonderful time. Employees, food, atmosphere, music. Everything was great! I had their fish and chips. Fish, fries and tarter sauce were perfect. Had my 5 yo grandson with me and he had a lot of fun as well. Will definitely go back!

Solely leaving this review to brag on our server Abby. My boyfriend and I came for lunch today and she made the entire experience. She was so attentive and sweet and even during the busiest hour, she made sure we felt important and taken care of. Haven’t had service like hers in Cherokee County in years. We need more Abby’s! We will definitely be back just to visit her.
