My wife and I went there this wkend to try something new…. Very odd location when thinking of a “Tavern” especially in Woodstock! Pulling in we thought we were headed to the wrong place. When we got there I double checked address and it was exact. There is no signage letting you know it’s the restaurant but you can tell by the address you’re at the correct location! It’s nice tucked away almost unnoticed but gives the Country Club Vibe 100%… cart paths leading to and away from it and golfers drinking like it’s their home away from home literally! It’s def a regulars bar but don’t shy away if you’re not! We weren’t looked upon as less than at all just served promptly and efficiently! Entrees were blahhh I got the burger which was cooked perfectly but lacked in seasoning…. Fries were great! Salad is a salad on my wife’s behalf. The one thing I will say was on point is the spinach artichoke dip! Add queso for $3 not a bad deal…. Just wish the chips were more plentiful and also not a Christmas mix color as there is no need especially for presentation purposes. I’m a former KM and if I were serving this I’d just provide normal tortilla chips and include some flour tortillas for dipping and garnish with so parsley for color, the red and green chips are unnecessary! Overall I’d rate it 6/10….

Food quality- 7/10 due to lack of seasoning and chips
Atmosphere - 6/10 due to feeling overwhelmed by golfers and regulars all over the place… maybe it’s different when you go at a later time
Service- 10/10 server was on top of our drinks making sure we were filled and food came out promptly and hot…. Over all I’d give it another shot but may try ordering something different next time but would stick with the spin dip as it was delicious!

Very disappointed! The $14 Cobb Salad had Smokey flavored IMITATION BACON BITS on it instead of real bacon. They didn’t even use real bacon bits…At least use the real bacon ones. RUINED the salad! All I could taste was the Smokey flavor, it was horrible! The blue cheese dressing was totally tasteless, pretty much tasted like I had poured milk on my salad. C’mon…for $14 that was ridiculous!!!

We visited this restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. My dad is disabled, and accessibility is important to us. Upon arrival, there was no host or signage indicating where to go. When we asked the bartender, we were told that tables were first come, first served. We grabbed a table inside while my dad waited outside for an outdoor spot.

Inside, it was loud and messy, and it took a while before anyone came to clean the table or take our order. As they were wiping the table, my dad signaled that an outdoor table was available, so we moved. My mom informed the waitress, but instead of acknowledging us, she seemed annoyed.

After about 10 minutes, another waitress with short brown hair approached and told us we needed to move because someone had been waiting an hour for that table. There was no waitlist, no system in place, and no staff informing us of any rules. When I explained that my dad is disabled and was struggling with mobility, she was dismissive and insisted we leave the table without any consideration.

We had heard great things about this place, but with staff being unhelpful and rude, we won’t be returning. Better organization and a more accommodating attitude toward customers, especially those with disabilities, would make a huge difference.

I forgot to take pictures.

Parking: Free parking
Service: Anna was excellent and patience with us. It was our first time at the location. She did not rush us.
Atmosphere: Tranquility. It was not that crowded when we arrived. We sat on the balcony or outdoor seating. You can see the golf course.
Food: I enjoyed my fish tacos. Cook perfect. The only one problem. Each fish was a different size.
If I am ever on that side of town, I will be back.

Week 13 of our "New Restaurant Each Week" challenge, we discovered a "hidden gem," The Tavern at Towne Lake, located on the 18th green of the Towne Lake Hills Golf Club in Woodstock. The course is a private course, but the Tavern is open to the public. The prices are very reasonable and the food was really good. I had a delicious Georgia French Dip and Laura had a great omelet on the brunch menu. Lacey was our server and she was terrific. Lot's of specials throughout the week too! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Had lunch here today with our son. The golf club is beautiful. We had fried flounder that was delicious. Our bartender, Kristin, was courteous, kind and very attentive. Try this place if you haven't already. You won't be sorry

First visit here for "Taco Tuesday". Great patio and the servers were great. The food was terrible. The beef tacos were more like sloppy joes. I'm pretty sure it was Ortega seasoning off the shelf on cold untoasted tortillas. If they were .50 cents a piece I wouldn't really complain but they charge $7 for these three sloppy joes. Huge disappointment.

Ordered the Ribeye with loaded smashed potatoes and a veg medley. The bourbon drinks(manhattan/eagle rare on a large rock) were made perfectly. Highly, highly recommend this place to all. Take the time to take the drive here, it's a little hidden gem! Highly recommend. Best part if you play golf, it's on the course near the clubhouse.

Usually love this place. The food is pretty much always good.Buuuut, we sat for over a hour today waiting on our food.We ordered it at 1:13 and at 2:26 we still hadn’t received our food.We also had to wait 10-20 minutes between drink orders. Not sure what changed but recently is been rough.
