The Food we ordered a sweet n sour pork didn’t look like it, it was more like deep fried pork chunks no sweet n sour sauce or vegetable. The mix vegetable with shrimp was over cook rubbery and the vegetable was tested bland. No love in makings the food.
Service here is to notch, always a smile, and very helpful. Many businesses can learn from these people how to treat customers. Parking can be tough at times depending on the size of your vehicle be aware. Come early to make sure your favorite foods are available. Everything is made fresh and delicious. Be patient. The line can be long, but no worries, it moves fast. I always try to get my childhood favorite, layered rice cake.

Great food! Worked in the area for 10 days, came here 4 of them.People are sweet and food is worth every cent! Manapua, pork hash, half moon and garlic chicken are my favorites.
The customer service was unacceptable. I called to place an order for my off island family to take on my trip to Maui 2 days before to ensure I would get close to what my family requested. I called and placed the order for their assorted manapua. The person whom I spoke with informed me of selections that were not available. I placed my order. 2 hours later I get called that “no garlic chicken” will be available for my order, so with understanding I adjusted my order with some disappointment. Then today, I get another called that the “Thai curry” was not available on the day of my order. My family was hoping for assorted manapua to try and I called in advance to ensure that I could accommodate their requests. Now I’m going to Maui with only ONE assorted type. This is unacceptable with the constant changes and numerous phone calls. Then when picking up the order, the gal defends the actions that were done by the staff. I will never be a customer ever again.

Waimalu location is Take Out Only. Friendly, helpful, efficient Staff. Many delicious entrees to choose from, along w/ mulitple noodle & fried rice choices. Portion sizes are very large. All my choices were hot, fresh & delicious. Manapua, pork hash, half moon & rice cake available until they sell out.

Ginger chicken fried rice and the salt/pepper fish is ono! Lines are long, so be patient and practice Aloha!
Food was great, they now charge you for extra mustard if you aren't ordering pork hash, $0.50 a container, but they weren't all full. I miss the times you could actually sit in there to eat your food fresh and hot.

Ordered deep pan of fried saimin - $42. See pic. Saimin didn’t even fill the pan. Food was good and service was great - just really poor value. You could always rely on getting a ton of food for your $$ at Chun Wah Kam. Now I wouldn’t go back.

Went to buy manapua and pork hash. Kinda long wait. Was confusing because had signs saying did not have steamed manapua due to equipment issues. Got to the front, and the worker says they have steamed??!! Why not take down the signs? And its a little chaotic being funneled to the front counter where its crowded. But the manapua n pork hash were delicious! The workers were very courteous ?
