“I was visiting for a few days and someone recommended this place for a light and refreshing lunch. Took me a minute to find this hidden gem, but it was so worth it! I had the egg salad on a croissant fully loaded with all their toppings. I’ve been thinking about this sandwich since I left the place and now I’m back at home trying to recreate it lol. Thank goodness we are moving there soon!“
“Some of the most delicious pastries and best cuts of meat on the island. One of our go-to spots for getting fun breakfast and planning a scrumptious dinner. Harley and Jason are awesome and this place is an absolute gem!“

“Came on a Wednesday and the vibes were phenomenal! Shout out to Kristen for her aloha and friendly service. She really made the whole experience so much better. Hands down this was one of the BEST experiences we had during our time on the island.
It's a five course tea time with a set menu. The food was so onolicious. Kristen was so knowledgeable explaining each item. For the ambience, food, and service, 10000/10 would come again especially if Kristen is working. Trust me, she will make it so fun!“

“Deli is Awesome. In addition to pizza and sandwiches, you can buy local food such as garlic shrimp, coconut shrimp, and poke-bowl. This deli has a long waiting time, but I think it is because many people use it.“

“I always visit North Star in School Street each time I go to Honolulu. This is practically an extension of our home kitchen for authentic Ilocano cuisines.
This unassuming place is our go-to for chicharon and dinak-dakan. The best, freshest, and closest to the ones from the Philippines. I have yet to try their longanisa and see if this can be added to our go-to lists. They have other dishes that you can buy as an ala carte or part of a plate lunch to go. This is a very tiny place, so there is no dine in option. They have a limited selection of Filipino products you can peruse.
Friendly staff as always.
Parking: Parking is shared with other businesses. It's a bit hard to find parking out front, so people tend to double park. If you can't street parking, just patiently wait. Someone will come out sooner or later. It will be worth the wait, though.“

“I do not know what’s up with all the bad reviews. This place is a hidden gem. Let me first start by saying the kitchen is on point. Food comes out fresh and hot, wait staff is very friendly. Had no issues with the food, and honestly will eat here again. Marty our server was amazing and kind lady. She made sure everything was on point and up to our standards. Is it worth eating at yes is the prices fair yes.“

“This shop has been here for decades. You will always find wonderful things to eat. Take out and cash only. I recommend their spring and summer rolls. Tasty and filling. They have the usual Ba-Le menu and have added several Chinese dish selections which are also delicious. Not sure if they still do it, but in the past, they grew all their own Basil, mint and green onions. A very dedicated couple of owners who have weathered the pandemic and continue to provide that old familiar taste and service that we have come to know.“

“One of the best Manapua place in Aiea. Had to preorder a day prior to get the big Chicken Katsu Musubi 😂 just to prove my family and friends it’s worth the wait. After a day of wait I got it and showed it to my fams and friends and they were like ima preorder right now 😂. The other food selection is great and the workers inside were friendly and thankful everytime I come in to buy their food 🤙. Either this spot or the Manapua place in Waimalu shopping center there my favorite Manapua place in the Aiea side. Keep it up“
