I've eaten take out here before and I like their Mala gyōza with noodles and their pork rice bowl. Tonight I tried dining in. We split the Mala gyōza as an appetizer and I had the braised beef rib noodle soup. Mala gyōza was good as always. The soup I was expecting to be a bit spicier. The noodles were very chewy which I wasn't used to. The beef rib was quite chewy and tough. For a soup that claimed to be cooked for at least 12 hours, I expected it to fall off the bone. Overall it was an okay meal. I'd definitely order a different main dish next time.

If you’re looking for authentic, clean, and flavorful Taiwanese cuisine, Fooki is the place to go! I tried the Boom Boom Chicken, Grandpa Rolling Beef, and Bao Bun — and every single dish was a hit.

The Grandpa Rolling Beef in particular blew me away — it’s a unique dish I’ve never had before, but now I can’t stop thinking about it. The flavors were rich, the texture perfect, and you can tell everything is made with care.

The portions were great, the ingredients fresh, and the vibes super chill. Can’t wait to go back and try more off the menu.

10/10 recommend — especially if you’re craving Taiwanese food done right.

Had the Trio-Cup Chicken. The sauce was good and the dish was seasoned well. But the dish was pretty expensive given that it’s just a rice bowl.

OMG all I can say. This place is above and beyond expectations. The food and the staff were excellent and very patient as this was our first time here. Will be back soon. Food was to die for. Come here and you will not be going away hungry or disappointed.

We came here to try the much talked about Boom Boom Chicken, along with the Monster Pork Chop, Fooki Bao, and Cow Wow braised noodle soup.

The chicken had a nice salty, herby flavor from the dried greens, but after a while the dryness made it less enjoyable. The pork chop was also on the dry side. Maybe some dipping sauce like shoyu and vinegar with chili would’ve made it better. The bao, however, really stood out. It was thick, juicy with rich fat and flavorful garnishes. The Cow Wow noodle soup was overall tasty with tender cuts, but the shank was a bit tough to pull off the bone.

Service was excellent. The young lady helping us was quick and attentive, gave great recommendations, and replaced our dropped chopsticks without even asking.

The atmosphere was calm for an afternoon visit with booming K-pop music (especially our favorite Blackpink tracks); gave the place a fun vibe.

Come eat here immediately!

Brought my Taiwanese parents to Hawaii for vacation. We got to the point during our trip that they were feeling like they needed to eat Chinese or Taiwanese food. Although it is a bit a ways from Waikiki, it is so worth coming out here to eat at Fooki.
My parents (and the rest of the fam) could not be happier finding a place that felt like home. It was all the best comfort food and more. We basically ordered the whole menu, and all delicious.
- The ma jiang noodles were so good, we ordered two bowls.
- My dad's comfort food is Taiwanese sausage, which he excitedly ordered, ate, and enjoyed.
- The monster pork chops were perfectly fried and came with delicious dipping sauce that we had to get to go.
- I personally am not the biggest fan of beef noodle soup, but theirs was delicious. The soup was so good!
- The desserts were amazing too! Tofu pudding had the best toppings and the right amount of sweetness. The mua-ji (mochi) were devoured by everyone. We even got to try their honey toast. So so good.

Service was great. Everyone was so attentive, understanding, and felt like family. The food came out fast!

I cannot recommend this place more.
This is now our must-go-to spot anytime we're in Oahu.
