Husband & I was very pleased with our waitress. Wished I knew her name. It’s our 1st time eating here & she recommended some plates. I had left overs so I signaled her for a box & she came back laughing because I looked like I was doing “baby shark”. She made my day & I will not signal baby shark again at any restaurants. **sigh** Anywho… We will go back to try other plates. Yummy food, Awesome service & perfect atmosphere!!

Not sure what happen to this place a few years back I carted with them, ordered Bento for event & everything is ok now June 2025 fried rice is old/yukie & hard😩 waitress ask me what’s wrong I want you guys to try it or just give me a regular rice- still charge me for it Disappointing !

I've been to the Dillingham location, and this location so far. Both are pretty consistent in service and food. They have a pretty decent loco moco, and the pancakes are amazing! Probably one of the top breakfast places on the island. Come early so you don't have to wait in line, because there always is one.

You got to try their Ube pancakes, enjoyed it so much we visited twice tried the prime rib locomoco delicious also. Also recommended it to a few friends who are visiting as well and locals this place was amazing.

This is an amazing family Cafe! Food is delicious! I had the crab cake Benedict! Staff is very nice! I will be returning anytime I am in the area

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Oxtail & Açaí French Toast! A Bold Harmony of Soul and Sunshine

From the moment the oxtail arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just comfort food, it was a masterclass in depth and flavor. Braised to perfection, the meat slid off the bone with a graceful tenderness, steeped in a rich, savory broth that whispered of long hours and culinary care. Each bite was an homage to tradition, yet refined enough to feel upscale. Shar was my host and she provided outstanding customer service!

Excellent food. Don't be fooled by the hole in the wall/strip mall location. Small place but big taste. Oreo cheesecake pancakes were amazing. Go for the food, not the atmosphere, and you'll be happy.

Guieb Café is a great find. We stopped by after visiting Pearl Harbor.

The ube French toast was rich and flavorful, and the pancakes were light and delicious. Unique flavors, great taste, and super friendly staff. We’ll definitely be back.

I was craving Ube pancakes and seeing that every other location closes at 2 pm so I was bummed until I googled places that were going to close later and stumbled across Guieb cafe here in Aiea. I’m happy they didn’t close until 3 pm. Thank you to your owners for that!!!!
The pictures and reviews had me intrigued so of course I had to check it out. As soon as my daughter and I walked in we were welcomed with a friendly smile and hello from Marjorie. She was very warm and welcoming.
She brought us drinks immediately along with menus. I ordered the Ube mascarpone pancakes, traditional benedict breakfast , keiki mini pancakes breakfast for my 4 year old daughter and my fiancée had the loco Moco breakfast. The food was all well served, beautiful presentation, hot and delicious!!! We all rated everything 10/10. A great place for families and just anyone. We will most definitely be back😋☺️.

Today was the first time in a year that we came back to Guieb and I hate to say it, but we were greatly disappointed. When Guieb was first in Kalihi, this place was AMAZING...quality local grinds with the restaurant's own twist on flavor. The quality of food that we got today was definitely not what Guieb used to be.

Today we ordered takeout from the Aiea location...ube mascarpone pancakes and poi mochi waffles with chicken. Let me start out by saying that both dishes were terrible. The ube pancakes were overcooked and dry. After eating a couple of bites, it was decided that the pancakes were unbearable to eat so we gave it to our dogs...the dogs sniffed it and walked away. As for the chicken and poi mochi waffles...the chicken was excellent - crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The poi mochi waffles are another story. It was burnt and didn't have a mochi texture which made me think...did the staff screw up and give me regular waffles? After thoroughly dissecting the waffle, my husband and I saw little flakes of light purple in waffle which made us determine that what was in front of us was indeed a poi mochi waffle. Served with the waffle was a very watery (not at all creamy) and bland coconut syrup. I remember the coconut syrup back in the day used to be thick and creamy.

Bottom line, I will not be coming back here or recommending this place to anyone. Just like other places that expands its business to multiple locations, it seems like this restaurant is cutting corners and the quality of its food has gone down big time.

To Guieb Cafe, can I get my $40 back for my terrible breakfast? I'm so disappointed in you 😞
