Believe the hype,glad I did. Lunch boxes are generous, with good fresh fry rice rice full of their excellent char su, a lupia, and a layer of perfect cabbage under the juicy plump duck. Tables available in shade outside. Get there early this place is no secret.
This is the best roast pork on the island. The duck is good too, some how they get the duck skin crispy like glass, I love that. However the meat was a little drier and less flavorful then the duck I had in Chinatown. The winner here really is the roast pork. Best flavor, tenderest meat, juiciest fat, and of corse bubbly crispy charred skin
This spot is straight heat. I always come here for their plate lunch with the cake noodle upgrade. It’s honestly a great deal since it comes with your choice of protein, cake noodle, cabbage, and a gau gee. They even give the sauce on the side so the cake noodle stays nice and crispy. This time we got two duck plate lunches and a pound of roast pork. Everything was tasty and delicious, and this place is always my go-to for duck and roast pork.
