“Maybe our memories were better than the food. It’s been 20 years since we stopped in for a lunch. I’m used to food prices being high in The Islands, and though the food was good, the burger was very petite, and the onion rings were left in the deep fryer a bit too long. Still it was fun to revisit. Just wish they had a restroom on site.“

“Randomly ran into this place and it was total worth it. Great chat with the staff. Got the Sampler Plate and Mac salad. Shared it with my husband and it was more than enough.
Shredded beef and pork was tasty and I loved it in the BBQ sauce. The chicken was the juiciest, most tender I have ever had in my life! Could have at just a plate of the chicken. Ribs were also on point.
If you are in the area, go!
Also, I thought it was fun to have the little water guns for the chickens... You will understand once you go.

“This place was highly recommended by my patient that was part of a Facebook Group that posted about this place a lot and they were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. It was good and the service was fantastic, but not so good that we made a second stop on our trip. Their service was quick too, so it's a good stop if you only have a short time to eat! “One of the best Garlic Shrimp place on the island so far (we tried 8 others prior). Large shrimps (around 5 pieces) with shell on, head on. Comes hot, spicy, and garlicy. Friendly owner Nd quick service. Not too many shades to sit when it gets crowded.“

“We came here for breakfast a couple of times during our stay in Kapa'a. I'm not sure if it was a temporary thing but the entire time we were there, they didn't have any of the regular McDonald's breakfast items except pancakes, hash browns and the eggs from the Big Breakfast. The eggs are served with rice, Spam and/or Portuguese sausage and they give you a packet of soy sauce. I'm not a fan of Spam but the sausage was good. They put way too much rice though, at least for me.The service was always good so no complaints there and it was conveniently located right by our hotel.“
