I walked into this unassuming shop in Anahola market and was instantly met by Abby‘s big smile and beautiful presence. I appreciate her deep connection to her roots to Ethiopia and strong emphasis on all ingredients being purely organic, authentic and sourced from local farms. The meal was divinely DELICIOUS!! so good that I had to eat with my hands~ the traditional way! I believe she offers her love and honors her country in the best way ??

This is wonderful ❤️ Ethiopian food in a very interesting roadside co-op. Very yummy, friendly staff, inexpensive. Loved the lentil stews and that you can always opt for a vegetarian meal if you desire. Get the hot sauce on it, though!If you are ever on the road near Kapa'a, stop in and try it!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a dirt parking lot and you have to cross some grass to get to it. There aren't easy paved paths around the area.

Great find on the island! The owner was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the organic foods in the area. I hope that the shopping center the restaurant is in can open more if it's shops. Just a couple places are open in the whole complex.
