I didn’t realize there’s an excellent Thai restaurant right near me, a friend took me yesterday. I had the spicy Thai basil with pork, he had pineapple fried rice with beef. We split fried calamari and spring rolls and I topped it off with Thai iced coffee. Everything was delicious, spiciness just right, great service, good sized portions and reasonable prices. Will definitely go back soon!

This is probably the best Thai restaurant on the west side and better than a lot of Thai restaurants in town too. Get the dinner for two and save. Red curry is so tasty and their spring rolls are awesome. Come with two drinks, appetizer, two entrees and dessert for $51.

We have not eaten here since under new ownership and tonight we had the best meal!!! We did an Uber order and the flavors were amazing, food was piping hot! We appreciated the portion size, they were huge. Usually when you get takeout portions are smaller but they were very generous. Thank you so much for a delicious meal!!! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I wanted to pick up some takeout but decided to dine in because of how friendly the staff was. I'm so glad we did because we ended up ordering more. We had the Spicy Basil with pork (Pad Krapow). I loved the rich flavor of it and although it was too spicy for me, I kept eating more. My wife loves Thai spicy and she thought it wasn't spicy enough. We also tried the Panang Curry. It was rich in flavor and not watered down like most other local Thai places. I can't wait to return have it again. Side Note: This place is BYOB and Ewa Pantry is short walk away. They have a wide variety of all your favorite drinks.

Bann Thai Restaurant on Kaimalie Street near KFC is worth going to. This is probably the third different owner now. Name of the restaurant has been changed three different times. The owners (Husband & Wife) are Laotian. My family had cravings for some Thai grinds so I decided to give Bann Thai a try since I only live 5 minutes away from the restaurant. To my surprise the food was good. I ordered some Tom Yum Chix Soup, Basil Beef and Pad Thai Shrimp. The ambiance was alright. Nothing to brag about just average. Customer service when I visited was slow; but, at least the owners and staff were friendly and the AC was kicking nicely. I would give it "5 stars" if the price of the dishes were abit lower. However, inflation sucks so I understand that they have to pass-on the high costs to their customers. Business is business, right?! In summary, I would recommend Bann Thai Restaurant to everyone and I will support this business going forward. KOP JAI DEUX!!!
