I'm a visitor from Las Vegas and have been to Hawaii many times to visit my family and I was with my mom, Auntie, and my oldest cousin. This was my mom, Auntie, and my first time to this place. My oldest cousin visited this place a couple of times. For me, this place is great. Clean and the employees were nice and made our drinks. And also, the cashier was a lady with glasses and she nice and gave us a cups of I think it was chocolate and caramel. And greet at us when we got in and when we leave. Hopefully when we if we can come visit and vacation Hawaii again, hopefully we can come back to this place again.

My bestie and I love coming here for that low-key coffee shop vibe. Staff is very friendly and patient when asked about dietary needs/restrictions. There are lots of syrup flavors and they have specialty creations which are always fun to try. The bakery they get their banana bread from is AWESOME be sure to ask to have the bread heated longer to get that warm just baked feel with a slight crisp to the outside of it. Lots of outdoor patio seating and limited but nice indoor seating. Free wifi too.

Delicious coffee concoctions and aloha vibes! The owner even gave us a sample of cinnamon toast. Do not sleep on the seasonal specials.

This was my first time at Local Joe West. The drinks were delicious- I ordered the Audrey Hepburn with regular milk and it was perfectly made and hot. No bitterness or burnt flavors which tells me the baristas are awesome and know their stuff. I didn’t get anything to eat but regretted that decision because the breakfast sandwiches looked and smelled incredible. I also appreciated how clean the place was. Overall I’d definitely go back if I was up that way again!

This is a great establishment with wonderful owners. They gave my daughter with disabilities a summer job. They were patient and kind with her. Jeff and his wife made sophia a part of their local Joe's family. I will always remember their kindness and how they made her feel like she is valued and capable. If you have anyone you love who has special needs, please go show this company some support. Also, the coffee is great. My personal favorite is the Audrey Hepburn. Great food. Amazing people.
Hear me out... this place when it first started would take 30+ minutes to pump out 2 coffees, and that was with 4/5 staff memebers. Thats not an over exaggeration was like a daily thing so we stopped going.
Then!! they got into the swing of things and now its Top Knotch. Coffee is Great, service is great. All in all a total Win.
I work nights so after my shift I like to stop in grab a coffee for the wife, and one for me to sip on after I wake up. Today they had 2 people on shift, the young man on reg, and cooking and a young lady on bar and they both killed it. 🤙 Place was busy and she was pumping out drinks like no other.
Total turn around, if you gave up on them in the passed. Take my word for it, give them another shot. ☆☆☆☆☆

Coffee order was wrong even though there were only 2 other customers at the time aka. It wasn’t busy. They also didn’t call us or bring our coffee out to us, again even though we were one of the 2 customers there at the time. I don’t think our coffee was sitting for too long but I wish that they would just bring it to us or call us to the door since we were sitting outside waiting, just would have made more sense rather than leave it on the counter to get cold. Wish I could support more but unfortunately the experience fell very short of great. Also I hope they get better seating furniture in the future, it would really help elevate the vibe.

TAKES FOREVER! After waiting 25 mins for a latte I asked for a refund. They honored my request. They are not well staffed or stocked. They were unable to process orders in order they came, and I feel bad for the online order people. Another customer adjacent to me put in an online order but they didn’t start them until people physically came in and asked for their orders, seemed to defeat the purpose. Sadly they have lost my business, teases and sage creamery also have matcha and espresso machines.

Cute lil shop. Not a place to go sit and lounge, but convenient for a quick stop on the way to work. I like their display of local art. I do agree with previous reviews that the coffee is pricey

The mango and banana breads are so delicious! Great coffee as well
Stopped in here today for coffee and a snack. They were out of cold brew so I got an iced double espresso and the vegan burrito. The espresso packed a punch and the burrito was loaded with fresh ingredients and came with a layered salsa and guac on the side! Both baristas were friendly and welcoming! There is seating inside and out, plenty of parking and everything was fair priced and clean. If you're a hot coffee person, they have diy latte art option!
This place was great! The coffee was even better! The guava strudel is so good! Good vibes and a cool place to grab coffee that isn’t loaded with people and cars! Highly recommend!
I have this place multiple times a week! Great coffee and the staff is so sweet. I like the croissant but it is a little on the greasier side if that’s not something you think you would enjoy. The burritos are SO GOOD. The owner is so sweet, just like all of the employees!
The mocha here is bomb.
