Personally I think the coffee here is a little overpriced, I’ve been to other coffee shops that have similar drinks for a smaller price tag. I paid more than $6 for a small ‘Audrey hepburn’ iced coffee with no upgrades just got the normal milk. I got the coffee half sweet and it was still too sweet for my liking (but that is just personal preference). I assume the high price tag for the coffee has to be because of high rent prices ??‍♀️ My husband got a double shot coffee and we also got one cold caramel apple pastry since all of the other pastries were sold out. Should have asked the price of the pastry because it had to be at least $5/$6 because our total was just under $16. The caramel apple pastry was cold and too sweet for both me and my husband. While the workers were nice, I’m not sure we’d return due to the lack of parking available. You have to find street parking since it is located in a residential area and there is no dedicated parking lot for the coffee shop. If you’re lucky there’s maybe two spots right in front of the coffee shop on the curb but after that there’s a “no parking anytime” sign.

Parking: Difficult to find parking since there is no dedicated lot. It seems a lot of residents have their cars parked on the side street as well so you have to walk a decent amount to get back to the coffee shop.

Cute local shop with a bunch of outdoor seating. Coffee was pretty good and they do latte art which is fun. The food was only alright, and for the price I would've expected a bit better. Seems to cater to locals so I'm sure it suits them fine but for someone just passing through I'd say it's a good stop for coffee at least

I've been a fan of this local shop for awhile now and the owner has always been wonderful!

However, I wish I didn't have to write this review in regards to the negative experience I had today.

My family has been sick for the last week, but since Local Joe's was near, I decided to place an online order (see screenshot).

We live about 3 minutes away, so I thought why not.

I placed my order at 9:33am. My email said it would be ready by 10:05am.

I didn't get my order until almost 10:35am.

I walked into Joe's around 10:08am and I was asked if I had a mobile order.

I said yes and gave my name.

My iced matcha was already made and I got it.

I didn't want to take my mask off, so I couldn't drink it until I could leave.

I watched customer after customer get their orders, including customers that had placed orders with food, get their orders, and leave.

I decided to ask after I saw a kitchen staff putting up all of their food prep away into the fridge.

I finally asked where the rest of my order was and I got a look of "what order?"

One staff member looked on their kiosk and asked for my name, again.

After strolling a bit, they found my order and said that their kitchen never got it and told me that they'll make it.

After 15 minutes, I saw that my drink was melting and asked if my drink could be remade.

I got a look as if I insulted the staff, which was not my intention at all.

After I asked, I decided to go sit outside because I was getting upset as this is something I haven't seen at Joe's before.

When I finally got my food, I explained to the employee that I placed my order online because my household is sick and I didn't want to be out for long.

She apologized and blamed the issue on the printer...when she clearly saw that I've been standing at the pick up counter for a long time and not even asking me if I was waiting for something else.

Paying $24 for an order that took a hour to get, even when it was online, and to be made to feel you're in the wrong asking for assistance is messed up.

Experiences like this makes it hard to support local businesses.

I'll give Joe's a rest for awhile because I still got mad love for the business and their food has always been a hit! Try them on a day and time where they're arent so busy❤️

This place has progressively gone downhill in service. It's unfortunate because the coffee and food are great. After a few unpleasant experiences I decided today is my last visit to Local Joes. I'll go to Kalapawai, they have smiles and aloha.

What an awesome spot that's not too far from the Skyline Station Keone'AE U.H. West O'ahu Station in Ewa. The prices are very good and the coffee and food, even better. So Ono! They offer diy foam art or let them surprise you. Great local shop with amazing customer service with a smile. Inside counter space and outdoor seating. Dog friendly, and they offer pup cups. First time but not the last time. I give Local Joe West 2 ????

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families were enjoying their meals.

Wheelchair accessibility: You'll need help getting into the door,(which isn't a problem, someone will help you.) and no ramps.

Very friendly staff and great drinks. Our first time there they accidentally made a hot chocolate for another customer who didn't want it. They offered it to me and it made my 11 yo daughters day! She now asks to go back all the time!

Overall great little business and glad they are in our neighborhood!

I’ll keep coming here when I’m in the area, because the americanos are good, but I’ve had my frustrations.

1. Ask for a tiny splash of milk and end up getting a latte’s worth
2. Painfully slow when there is any bit of a crowd
3. Bought a ~$20 bag of beans stating it was medium roast and it was definitely dark.

Overall very nice staff and good coffee, just wish some of the details were a little better.

Everything is home made and made to order with love. Total care in preparation and presentation. 8 hour cold brew drip system (for you cold brew lovers). Even bake their own everything!

Kind staff, smooth coffee, and good breakfast food! love their French toast latte and their ABC bagel. If it's your first time there, the owners trained their staff to be attentive and open to customers' questions. Their store is clean and smells sooooo good.
