These are THE BEST ACAI BOWLS in Hawaii. They have a bowl called the Local Bowl, and it has this acai puree that is just straight acai, not a smoothie at all, which literally tastes like ice cream or sorbet. There's also poi in it which is such a weirdly good combination, and so delicious. The fruit was fresh and amazing, and even had papaya in it! The location is amazing, right in the cute downtown of North Shore, and right by the beach. The staff was super nice, very understanding and helpful when I asked about dairy in the bowls (no dairy and no added sugar!). The spot itself is all outdoors, with some benches in the shade. Not a whole lot of seating, but people really come and go fast so it's not an issue. There's plenty of parking in the area too. Also my bowl came in a matter of minutes, it was super speedy. I cannot emphasize enough how delicious and incredibly good this place is!!!!! Update on this review, back again for those bowls. I stand by the fact that they are the most delicious acai bowls in Oahu.
Haleʻiwa Bowls is one of those places where you walk in thinking you will get something light and healthy, then somehow leave completely full and feeling like you made a responsible life choice.
The shop is small and has a small parking area in the back, so it can be easy to miss if you are not paying attention. Parking is limited, but manageable if you time it right.
The bowls are fresh, colorful, and packed with fruit, granola, and all the good stuff that makes you feel healthier just looking at it. It is the kind of meal that tastes like vacation but still lets you pretend you are balancing out all the malasadas and shrimp trucks.
Overall, Haleʻiwa Bowls is a great stop if you want something refreshing and lighter while cruising the North Shore. Just keep an eye out for the parking and prepare to stare at everyone else’s bowl wondering if you ordered the right one.

I've been coming here for at least a decade and change and it's been consistently solid. From portions it hasn't changed one bit and toppings is always either on the edge from packing or layered so it doesn't look thin topside. Where I gripe is the lack of space for waiting given the constant crowd and the lack of real parking options on site. This place shares the small lot which a coffee shop so space is always a premium especially with a one way in and out lane makes timing and using the space left wisely. Where I wish and think there could be improvement is the pricing and waiting area. I remember at one point the price of the small was the price of a large not too long ago (Covid ish) and going seeing that now took me for a ride. Now while the taste and I'm assuming quality compared to banzai etc is noticeable it's becoming unreasonable for Kamaainq in this economy. As for the waiting area it's small and given the waiting area quickly bleeds into the ordering line it becomes a game of timing like the lot to see if you'd be able to sit. On a rainy or hot day especially kiss any sitting or shade room goodbye. On a whole could do some small stuff better but still the same place I fell in love with long ago.

By a mile--and a long mile at that--the best place on the island for bowls and fresh fruit. We drove around the entire island and came back to them 4 times in the span of 2 weeks. Absolutely delicious, filling, nourishing stuff! And they don't skimp on those delicious cacao nibs. The paniolo bowl and smoothie were by far our favourites. Better than anything on any shore of the island.
