So much nicer than the one on Waikiki. Plenty of tables and nice outside seating. Not too crowded, staff very friendly, food delicious!!!

Do not tip when you order because you don’t know how long you will have to wait.
It’s been over 45mins since we placed our food orders and none of the items are ready…AND there was no heads-up about the long wait time.
Food was good though, just make sure you plan ahead for the long wait time.

I was super excited to try out the Island Vintage Coffee in Haleiwa. It’s right on the main strip near Matsumoto shave ice. There is plentiful parking behind the coffee shop, though it fills up quickly on the weekends. It’s a cute little shop with a limited menu for coffee which I was surprised to see since it is a coffee shop. The coffee I had today was a Lava Mocha Latte. Although it was delicious, it tasted more like a sugary beverage than coffee so I definitely wouldn’t order it again unless I was in the mood for that. I was, however, disappointed in the service today as it was pretty slow (20 minutes for a hot coffee) and it wasn’t at all busy. I may try them again in a different location but would love to see a more generous menu in the future.

Highly recommend the breakfast plate. We also had vanilla lattes and they were delicious.

This cafe is located across from Matsumoto Shave Ice.
We brew our coffee with beans grown in Hawaii.
The staff had a bad attitude, but there are terrace seats, so it's nice.
If a shave ice person sits down without permission, you will be warned (there is a warning sign)

Haleiwa's shop is laid-back and very pleasant. Moreover, there is no need to wait in line for a long time like at the Waikiki store. If you have time to wait in line for a long time at the Waikiki store, I think it would be better to drive to Haleiwa.

Shrimp baguette and garlic shrimp are fantastic! The coffee and otjer drinks are not very outstanding but not too bad for the price! It is next to matsumoto shaved ice so save your stomach for desserts! If you want a healthier option, Haleiwa bowls is across the street, opposite to 7-11 store!

We came in for a drink and got the yuzu matcha ice tea. Matcha is not high-grade or mixed well, still powdery and none yuzu flavor. Overall, you gonna like this if you have a taste bud of a 5 years old. Seems like most people got acai or whipped cream drinks, definitely not an espresso based coffee shop.
I was able to enjoy delicious acai bowls and hot coffee in a much quieter environment than Honolulu. What does coffee taste like! ?

A cafe in Haleiwa famous for its acai balls. The main thing is coffee, which you buy at the counter. The inside of the store is stylish, and you can enjoy it even if you don't drink coffee.
