Coffee is great; food is really bland

Absolutely loved this coffee shop! The atmosphere is amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the service made the experience even better. Jerica was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive — she made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. This is definitely the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. Can’t wait to visit next time we’re in Hawaii!

Compared to the Waikiki Beach location, this place was much less crowded — we only waited a few minutes in line, which was a huge plus. The food was genuinely very good, although personally I didn’t think the famous purple sweet potato bread was as amazing as people say. Surprisingly, the other dishes impressed me even more.

And the coffee really was excellent — definitely worth trying!

I stopped here while exploring the North Shore. My guide book recommended it and so gave it a shot. Really glad I stopped. My latte was outstanding but what really impressed me was the quality of the food. I had the ham, egg, and cheese croissant. First of all, it was HUGE. Second, it was absolutely delicious. Between the latte and the sandwich, I was stuffed. And I thought the price (for Hawaii anyway) was fair. Would 100% stop here again on future vacations to Hawaii.

Our shark tour was canceled, so we decided to get breakfast and coffee. The employees are courteous, the coffee was very good, the the outdoor seating was good. It was very cold inside, but the weather was temperate for outdoor seating. The prices are very expensive. That is the only downside.

My family was next door getting shaved ice while I opted for an acai bowl . This place's acai bowls are really great quality. One of the best on the island. Service was wonderful as well.

Quick pick me up needed after the long drive into town. Was able to get our fix here at north shore. Island Vintage was great ordered our norm Iced Latte with oat milk and hit the road back to Honolulu

We love coming here for coffee and breakfast. Staff is always so nice but they usually seem a little understaffed. The food is delicious.

The Lava Mocha was well-made, and the food delicious. The parking around back is highly competitive, but once you’ve landed a spot the rest is easy. There’s plenty of outside seating where you can people or chicken-watch.

Unfortunately they have a serious problem with flies here. Its hard to enjoy sitting inside because there are so many flies. Seems like a pretty serious infestation.

If you’re typically a black coffee lover but occasionally experiment with funky orders, the lavender latte is the perfect pick. The lavender honey isn’t too sweet, it’s pleasantly fragrant without being overpowering. Really enjoyed the drink!

4 stars for the service only because it’s pretty pricey, but that’s expected for Kona coffee (no other options available) and the location.

Get the avocado toast. Wow! Super delicious with a huge helping of aruguls on top. Best breakfast in Hawaii!!! So yummy! Super nice people and they leave a flower on your plate too!
