Fast and fresh food from truck.
Tasty food and generous portions!
Unassuming food truck in a food truck park (recommend parking in front of the church on the side of the road instead of in the food truck lot - very steep, people scraping bottom of their cars) with delicious food and big portions. We loved the special combo - coconut crusted mahi mahi, twice fried pork belly, papaya salad, and rice. Absolutely delicious. Drunken noodles were solid too! Prices are what you'd expect out of road to Hana food trucks (~$18-25 each).
Tasty tofu noodles, I would have loved more vegetables but the pasta was amazing!
Mahi Mahi with Garlic Sauce was delicious
The coconut crusted mahi mahi, the slaw and the drunken noodles was really delicious. Portions for the price were appropriate. Great after a day of exploring the Road to Hana.
I hate scammers. Food was excellent. Shows $22 on the sign for my meal. I brought 20 in cash. I order and say ill give you the 20 but i just need to run to my car to get you the other 2. She says oh its 25 with tax. I need 5 more. ???? I pay her the 5, get my meal, start eating. Look up hawaii tax rate ( which tax was included in all the other advertised surrounding food pricing boards) which is 4.5, realize that on 22 is little over 1 dollar not 3. Walk back up to the truck to inquire, i say how much is Maui’s tax rate to the lady and without a response she hands me back my 3 dollars. I knew she was scamming me and she knew it too. She was very pissy, like all the locals in Hana. They do not want us there and express it freely.
I got the veggie egg rolls and a lemonade. Both were good and reasonably priced.
Amazing Thai place in Hana where all the food trucks are located. I ordered veggie red curry and spring rolls and was very happy with my choices. The portions were quite large and could be split among two people. The menu itself was pretty big and I had a hard time deciding what to order. We decided to take our food to go and eat it elsewhere though, since we weren't vibing with the ambiance around the food trucks which was pretty crowded with people.
Note that everything closes early in Hana, so pay attention to the food truck hours if you're hoping to go for dinner.
The red curry with Hawaiian sweet potatoes was amazing

Omggg !!!! it was delightful🌈😍
My favorite Thai food on Maui :) the Green Papaya Salad is incredibly refreshing and I love the Pumpkin Curry. I’ve tried all the Thai food on Maui and this place is my favorite :) I stop here every time I visit Hana. I definitely recommend this food truck!
Very nice food truck stop on Road to Hana. We took the Road to Hana tour and our tour guide took us here for lunch. All of the choices were great with 6 plus different food trucks at this location. Tables were clean and ready to go! Choices range from tacos to burgers, chicken sandwiches and even fresh fish. Plenty to choose from no matter what you are craving. I had the Cheddar Chicken Sandwich with fries and it was hot, fresh and delicious. My wife had the fish tacos and she enjoyed every bite. Truly think this is the best location on Road to Hana to eat. Everyone in that path should stop in for a meal. I was even blessed to be able to help a local homeless guy get a hot meal while we were there. He was very thankful and appreciative. Very polite too. It was a win all around stopping there.
You need to get the combo(fried pork belly and coconut crusted mahi mahi and the pumpkin curry with fish. The combo comes with rice and appropriately funky papaya salad.
Is it cheap? No, but definitely the best bang for your buck out here and the portions are not small. You could probably get away with 2 dishes for 3 people if you are mild-moderately hungry.
Don’t expect happy bubbly Hawaiians, these are Asians running the food truck and you get the right amount of directness.
Luckily the only vegan option in Hana was Ae’s Thai Kitchen Food Truck. While they serve meat, they have a separate vegan menu visible. Very generous portions! Ordered two items: 1. Red vegan curry: super scrumptious curry! Best vegan dish we had during our Maui trip. 2. Drunken noodles: so-so quality; first few bites were good but then got oily toward the bottom.
