We cruised the road to Hana and built up an appetite so my husband Googled local places and this is how we ended up at Tony's. The prices are average with other restaurants in Hawaii but the creativity and taste a little better. We got the Cheeseburger to split on a bun made from taro root making it sweet with a purple color. The burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, fries were fresh and hot. First, hesitant to eat here since nobody was around! But, this place turned out of the most delicious food on Maui! Each of Our 7 orders was different than other, and every single food was delicious!! They have Taro bun for sandwiches which is local and purple color.Beautiful place to seat.Great food quality.Great customer service.Unique drinks (juices).Only restrooms are not in good shape.Totally recommended.

Stopped here yesterday as I attempted to make my way around the entire island. Let's just say...it was so worth it! From the Bacon Cheesburger on a Taro Bun to the Kona Mud Pie/Coconut Ice Cream-had to have two scoops. I loved the atmosphere and the food. Thanks, Tony's Place!
