Shockingly average. Each dish felt like it was made in miniature. The dinner rolls would be better brought frozen and baked at home. The cucumber salad and cheese plate were OK, but the pizza came straight from an easy bake oven. The mahi mahi was also just fine, but the five of us each only got half a bite. For $250, you’d be way better off going to Foodland and making your own meal. The service and ambience didn’t help much at all.

Despite having a reservation they made us wait over 40 mins after checking in.
The food is very good but quite pricey. Our server was very friendly.

My wife and I went one night without reservations and had to wait about a half hour but the food was definitely worth it and the island version of the Mule I had was delicious.
Then we took my parents about a week later with a reservation and every single dish we had was amazing! The surprise star of the night was the lentils, the bruschetta was delicious, and the short ribs reminded my mother and I of her mothers roast beef which has always been my favorite.

Roof was dripping/leaking into our salad and other tapas, dripping onto my head, face and clothes for the majority of our meal. The water was literally dripping down my face while I am trying to take a bite. Mmmmm doesn’t that image just conjure a craving; who knows what surfaces that water touched before it reached my dish. We basically ate contaminated food.
I let the hostess know and you want to know what she says??? “It’s raining everywhere now, and we are fully booked for the night.” It was raining OUTSIDE but I’m not talking about rain getting in from outside, I’m talking about a roof dripping into my food and on my face while I’m trying to eat. Most people have a reasonable expectation that eating at a restaurant will shelter them from the elements, otherwise we would all just eat sitting out in the rain. Further, while we were technically seated on the patio, there were screens drawn to the sides of the patio to block out the rain. When occasional spray came from beside these screens, I was completely unbothered. That does not mean I am supposed to be ok with a leaking roof above my head. Apparently, to them this isn’t a problem - lots of people like water from their cracked roof dripping onto and mixing into their food.
She came by a while later and said “you guys can move over here is you want” regarding a neighboring table. We did move and watched them come and move the table we had been sitting at to a different part of the restaurant.
They acted like it was perfectly normal for the food to be dripping on us but it was not leaking on anyone else. They didn’t want the roof to leek over the next party either which is why they moved the table.
No-one apologized, they did not make any kind of goodwill adjustment on our bill for eating our food with ceiling drip dressing (my plate was flooded with dripped water while I was eating - coming down from some wood above my head - pretty disgusting). They didn’t even acknowledge that this was an issue. They just brought the bill like all is normal. Amazing. And I reiterate, it was not leaking rain from the ceiling on to any other table in the entire restaurant.
Inconsiderate management; mediocre contaminated food.

Best food on the island by far. Holds up against any restaurant anywhere. Cucumber Salad, Kauai Shrimp and the Lamb Chops are must have

According to ChatGPT, this place is the hardest to get a reservation to. But if you make a reservation there’s an option to get notified if there’s a cancellation. I got notified almost daily.
The food was good, just kinda limited on protein options. It’s a very busy bar on the north side. Good place to people watch. But it is a little pricey

Excellent food and service. Easily one of the best restaurants I’ve experienced after years of dining across the country.

Showed up without a reservation on January 1st. Super busy. We were offered to wait at the counter by the kitchen which was very nice regarding the circumstances. Got a drink and Pupu's within 5 mn, a table within 10 and great food was served within 20mn. Great service all the way. Mahalo Bar Acuda!

This was the worst tasting, most basic and uninspired meal I had during my trip to Kaua'i. Everything was super bland *except for the lamb chops. Kaua'i has SO many other amazing restaurants; I wish I hadn't wasted a meal at this one.
We ordered the cucumber salad, honeycomb, bruschetta, Hawaiian fish, and lamb. Everything (except the lamb) was bad. The fish was unbelievably dry/overcooked and barely seasoned, the worst fish I had all week by far. The cucumber salad and bruschetta weren't flavorful, very unenjoyable to eat. The honeycomb was fine, but it's hard to wrong with that.
The lamb was amazing, but ONE good dish out of six isn't acceptable.

Great tapas bar that provides ample serving size to share each dish with 4-6 people. Our favorite dishes were the cucumber salad, lamb, the spaghetti (daily special), and the fish. We got the lilikoi cheese cake and flourless chocolate cake and were blown away. Good cocktails too with a cool intimate vibe to the spot.

Had an absolutely wonderful & pleasant evening here celebrating my father's 75th birthday after hiking the Kalalau Trail! Server was kind, very attentive, good conversation about the island, its history and things to do!

We came here for the AMEX/Resy deal, and it was totally worth it! The patatas bravas were absolutely amazing, and so was the braised short rib! We also got olives and mixed greens. If you like tapas, this is the place for you. If you want to get a spot, make sure you make a reservation on Resy.
