This place would get higher marks, but it’s trying to punch above its belt for how much it costs for food and drink. There are interesting ingredients for the dishes and drinks, but it didn’t really wow us in execution. E.g. the $19 cocktails lacked depth and taste for being that price (at the very least, upgrade to fancier glassware tailored to the drink), and the cucumber salad everyone raves about in these comments is missing an element to really give it some pop (probably an acid or more umami/salt).

Is it a good spot to check out? Probably. Does it match the hype? Not exactly. The restaurant seems to suffer from what happens when a restaurant markets itself as a place that serve Spanish tapas: you can serve small portions and jack up prices of each dish because it’s Spanish food. We spent over $200 here and then had to get food elsewhere afterwards to feel satisfied.

Sure, you can probably chalk it up to “Hawaii is expensive”, but for the same costs just go to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay and at least get a spectacular view while dining.

Mid place trying to do fancy things and just comes out mid. Almost 40 dollars a plate and service as good as a chain restaurant. Do yourself a favor and spend your money at a locally owned place.

This restaurant is unbelievable. It was so good that we canceled our next day dinner plans and came back. Both times, EVERY dish was so well planned, perfectly cooked, seasoned and unique. You can tell two head chefs own and cook at this restaurant. As a small business owner myself, the extra dedication and passion for food is evident in this establishment. The service was also fantastic. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in all of our travels. And we can be pretty high maintenance lol.

The food here was awesome, we had a table of five and ordered many items from the menu, the staff was great as to how they paced bringing out each item so as to not have to much on the table at once and so that thosw that were warm did not get cold sitting sround. The only item that was a draw back was three of us oederedthe drink Pirate Punch. This was absolutly the worst specialty coktail I have ever been served. Tow didn't even finsh them and for my second I actuall oredered a specialty iced Tea. The Pirate Punch was just over powered with Lime Juice which made it very tart an unappetizing. at $25.00 per sepcialty dring I would expect soemthing much more appealing to the taste buds.

Best food we had on the Island.

First off the flavors were delicious. Every dish was good to great but the stand out dish we had was the special, Ono aguachiles and the flavors were phenomenal. It was perfectly spiced, had different textures with pepitas (pumpkin seeds) adding crunch. Lastly, but well appreciated, the plating was beautiful.

Every place has a 5 star ranking but this place earns every one. Well done!

We are Vegan and their vegan options were fantastic !!! Their willingness to prepare vegan options by omitting cheese and other non-vegan components from their tapas showed that they cared ….which was really wonderful !
I would will there for dinner next time on island !

Felt very overpriced for what it was and doesn't really feel like a tapas restaraunt, just smaller portions for a higher price. We got the bee-keeper (okay), cucumber salad (very good), filet mignon (average), and lamb riblettes (well cooked but the ricotta is really overpowering. Cannot emphasize enough that the portions are small.

Very delicious food. Interesting combinations. Also the cocktails are highly recommended. Not cheap but worth it if you looking for a special occasion and evening in Kauai. Make sure you reserve a few weeks / days before

Best meal we had during our two week trip - hands down. What a gem of a restaurant. Excellent food. Not pretentious, very welcoming - even though we had 3 kids with us. Waitress was so friendly. Everything was just perfect. We’re going to try to go again!
