This place has such a great vibe, and one of the coolest things is that you can actually watch them prepare your breakfast right in front of you. It's such a neat, engaging experience!

And the food? Oh my goodness, the pastries and breads are out of this world. They're all baked fresh, and there's a huge, mouth-watering variety to choose from every single day. Plus, for anyone with dietary needs, they even have a fantastic selection of gluten-free pastries and bread, which is awesome to see – they really cater to everyone.

Full disclosure, it is a little on the pricier side, I won't lie. But honestly, the quality of the ingredients, the fresh preparation right before your eyes, and the overall delightful atmosphere really make it worth every single penny. You truly feel the value in every bite!

Seriously, if you're ever looking for a super enjoyable breakfast or brunch, I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

We came here almost every morning of our 10 day trip! We got the breakfast burrito and the Acai bowls, and of course, coffee. They offer great service, delicious food, and they are right in the heart of everything. We will come back as soon as we book our next visit!

Overpriced for what you get, it’s a cute spot to grab a coffee though.

Go to wishing well in Hanalei . The people are nice and the coffee is great. The Acai bowl is AMAZING! We went to Hanalei coffee first but caught them when they were cleaning up . We mentioned the hours say they are open until 5 pm , the girl we talked to didn’t care at all! She continued to insult me over my American flag tank top I was wearing . Saying it offended her and the Hawaiian people . Which was not my intention at all . It was new I had just got it for the 4th of July and it was comfortable.thats it !!
So much for customer service
Maybe skip getting coffee or anything at this place .
Clearly it must cater to locals only and not tourists.
Again Wishing Well down the street is your best bet .

Food was good but everyone who works here has a major attitude for no reason. Would not come back just because of the service

Worth the wait! Be prepared for a line to order and if you are wanting to dine in the seating is on the lanai or the nearby picnic tables. We were able to find a table or seat at the rails when we visited to enjoy our breakfast. The Apple danish was so good!

This espresso is in my top 3 around the world. The service is so warm. Downtown Hanelei is so chill. Just wow. Come relax and experience aloha.

Coffee leaves a lot to be desired. Although I didn’t try any food, it looked good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice too. The hours here are inaccurate. They close at 12:30 every day they are open and stop taking food orders at noon. Beware of their surcharge for their employees medical benefits. It’s a mandatory charge on all their bills.

Very disappointed. We drive all the way out from the south shore, and planned our day around this drive since it is a bit longer and according to google, they’re open till 5PM!

What a shock when we arrived and they are closed, and yet online it still says they’re open.

Make sure you call and check with an employee before making the trip , so you’re not wasting your time due to inaccurate google information provided by the store themselves.

Drove all the way from Koloa to pick up a few pounds of coffee to give as a gift. Imagine my surprise to find out that it was closed; and the time on this google listing is completely wrong. This place is actually the Hanalei Bread company and they close at 2pm.
In the spirit of aloha I’ve chosen to be kind with my review, as upset as I am. I’d give the place a call before you attempt to visit. ☹️

Location is great, but that doesn’t stop them from kicking out some tasty coffees!

The coffee they served was not even warm, the taste is very average and nothing special. Also they forgot to stir the matcha powder which shows the lack of quality in comparison of a good barista café. Just a place for organic hipsters who like the atmosphere.
