This was the most expensive poke I had while in Hawaii (ate poke every day) but was not the best. It was good (far superior than any mainland poke) but there is better poke for much cheaper on the island.
This is one of the finest fish you will get on the island, no kidding! I got the kealia and the flavors were amazing! Here are a few things that might help you enjoy the food here! For half an hour tell yourself you are spending 30$ to “treat yourself” yes it’s expensive! Also tell yourself that it’s ok and you will recover from this!! Tasty & fresh but quite pricey for the portion you get. Very simple open air shack set up with chairs to dine-in. Service is warm. The prep time is a bit on the slow side, considering there's not much cooking involved.
