I’ve been a long-time customer of Kauai Coffee Roasters, and I can honestly say they are something special.
Not only is the quality of their coffee exceptional — rich, smooth, and consistently delicious — but the way they treat their customers is truly next level. Recently, a package of my coffee beans was stolen from my apartment complex. I reached out, and they immediately replaced it, no hassle, with super fast delivery. The replacement arrived incredibly quickly, and inside was a handwritten note and a small gift. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare.
They genuinely make you feel like a valued customer, not just an order number. Their beans are a big part of our daily routine, and they make our mornings feel special every single day. You can feel the care and pride they put into what they do — from the sourcing, to the roasting, to the customer experience.
If you’re looking for outstanding coffee from a company with heart, integrity, and incredible service, I couldn’t recommend them more. I’m grateful to support a business like this.
Delicious coffee and amazing crew thank you!
Their fantastic coffee beans make amaaaazing coffee!!!
I've had local coffee across every island. Kauai is by far the best. Small, unassuming place. Wish they had a way to sample their beans and tea. If I'm back on the island I will make it a point to pay them a visit. Note their limited hours! We were lucky.
Sorry to over priced on the coffee... not sure where everyone comes from, but I can buy this coffee fir half of what there selling it for
This is some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. It was served at a friend's wedding, and I still dream about it. I recently visited Kauai again and brought home two pounds! I have it safely hidden in my pantry from other family members. 💙☕️
Visited on President's Day. Was technically closed, but advertised as open on Google Maps. Spoke with a manager/owner who graciously opened the store for us to purchase some coffee and was very respectful and understanding of the situation. We love supporting local coffee establishments and I have no doubt this will be some of the best coffee we've had in Hawaii!

Don't come here expecting to get a coffee or drink in the shop, which you have to mention because it seems like Google wants to list them as such. That isn't the case. You're coming here for amazing quality coffee and some of the best loose leaf tea you'll find on the island.

Kauai Roastery holds a special place in my heart. This isn’t just another coffee brand—it’s a celebration of the island's beauty and culture, brought to life through every cup.
What I love most is the care and craftsmanship that go into every roast. Each bag is like a little piece of Kauai, capturing the spirit of the land and the passion of the farmers. The bold flavors of the darker roasts give me that perfect kickstart in the morning, while the lighter blends are my go-to for a relaxing afternoon.

This small-batch roastery is truly outstanding. The owner is a past President of the Hawaii Coffee Growers Association — his expertise really shows. Their 100% Kau coffee is particularly good. The roastery doesn't have signage — you need to place an order on their website several days before your desired pickup date.

As Vermonters, my wife and I are especially grateful for being able to order coffee from Kauai and have it arrive at our door within a few days. We've been doing that for four or five years now, and we're never disappointed! The only downside is that Pakala spoils us so that we don't enjoy other kinds of coffee nearly so much.
Kauai Roastery's Pakala is by far our favorite coffee.(#20 grind and use in french press) While Kauai Coffee is a fun place to visit, we havent experienced any of their roasts or blends that compare with the smoothness and boldness of Kauai Roastery's Pakala. We order by mail the 15lb bag. so that we always have plenty on hand.We experienced it while having breakfast at Anuenue Cafe in Poipu, but had a hard time finding it while we were on island for personal use. Hope to see it in shops in Kauai so that we can placate our morning coffee fix while visiting.
Great coffee but this is the roaster and they only do wholesale. Not open to tastings or visitors.
Love the creamy yet bold flavor. I dare you to pick up some beans for a truly unique coffee experience.
