We found Ku'ulei's Gourmet on our last day on Kauai and we wish we had found it sooner. The staff was friendly, efficient, helpful, and they anticipated our needs before we could even ask. The menu is awesome! I'm the vegetarian in the group - I had the vegan split pea soup and a small garden salad, and then a cookie (best peanutbutter/oatmeal/M&M cookie ever!). Everything was delicious! We will definitely go back again next time we are on island!
Wow! Glad I skipped the chains and tourist traps and ate at this local gem. The Ahi katsu was amazing. So was the chicken pesto sandwich and the fish and chips. The service and atmosphere made us feel like family.
I just found this lovely little family run restaurant and I am very pleased. My wife and I shared the lasagna and a big salad and it felt like some of the best home cooking I’ve had in awhile. They also bake all their bread and various treats on site, so make sure to have a treat.
Also, very ( very) reasonable and a family staff that seems to enjoy what they do.
They even have root beer floats!
