“Food:Possibly the best poke we've had. Went almost every other day while we were on south shore. Fantastic fish, perfect sauce blend that added to the fish without distracting from the flavor. Their poke does have romaine lettuce in it which I know some people aren't a fan of, so if you don't like it, just order it without it.Location:Nice clean little eating area. Decent parking right next to it, but plenty of parking nearby. Old Koloa Town has plenty of cool shops, so we frequently grab food at Big Monster, then grab ice cream nearby and walk around exploring.Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Couple of vegetarian options, but if you're vegan, why are you going to a sushi truck in the first place?Parking: Some spots right next to it, with plenty more a short walk down the block.“

“Big Monster’s Jurassic Poke Bowl is the best poke on island! It’s such a good balance of fresh greens rice and super flavorful and fresh ahi. The sauces are incredible. The workers there are super helpful to guide you in what to order and the warehouse is a super sweet place to enjoy a Meal! You can choose from various outdoor or indoor dining options ❤️ ? they close at 4 so come before they close!“

“We were hesitant to go based on the mixed reviews but so glad we did! The food was phenomenal. We had a party of 8 and ordered just about everything you could try. The chicken pad Thai and cashew chicken was outstanding. The sushi rolls were delicious, as well as the potstickers and crab lagoons. The kids loved the orange chicken and the chicken fried rice. The atmosphere was very welcoming and family friendly. There was live music (not too loud fromWhere we were sitting inside) and hula dancing which was great as well. The food and appetizers came very fast and the waitress was very attentive and speedy. Our overall stay was about a hour 15 minutes from the time we arrived. We did make reservations because we had a large party. It it was not overly crowded when we went for dinner at 6:45pm on a Saturday. Would recommend to anyone and will def visit again when we return!“

““I have visited Poipu Rock and Roll Sushi on two occasions during my trips to Kauai, and it has become a place I always return to for enjoying Asian cuisine. The food here is always good, and on both occasions, I ordered a poke bowl, which was delicious.Furthermore, we enjoyed live music while dining, which added a special touch to the experience. This restaurant is a good choice if you’re looking for Asian flavors in Kauai. It’s a great place to enjoy a meal and a musical experience, and I’ve had positive experiences every time I’ve dined here.”“

“Hands down the best restaurant on the island. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt stunning Hotel, incredible staff. The breakfast feast as we call it out of this world. But I did not find the dinners to be any where near Japanese Grandma Cafe’The food was so good here I found myself in deep intersection on how I would have to prepare food at home to get it here, found new flavors I hadn’t considered before, and Kate our server was delightful. If your on the Island of Kauai and your looking for something special to share with someone you love even if that person is just yourself, look no further.Could not recommend more highly ??Mahalo“
