Food was pretty good but not amazing. For the price, it should’ve been a little better quality but overall it was good. I recommend getting the pizza which is normally fresh (sometimes not, it’s mostly luck). The view is great, you see the crater clearly and it’s amazing. Service was definitely 5 star, didn’t have any problems and they came pretty often to refill drinks. The wait to get a table is also not the best and sometimes takes awhile. Not many other choices, but...
Not sure what all the bad reviews about staff and food quality were all about, this place was great! The Kalua pork was a good portion size and very flavorful. The view is amazing and the staff were very attentive.
I think many of these reviews are over critical for small things because of the high price point but don't factor in you are eating in a historic location with a view that you rarely find anywhere else in the world for a restaurant.

If I could award more than 5 stars, I would.
Easily the best place to eat in Volcano, excellent prices, and the food & beer was top quality. We had the Big Island burger and the Fish & Chips, followed by the Creme Brulee and the Chocolate cake, and I had two glasses of the Vanilla Porter. The only thing that was better than the food/beer was Eddie, our waiter - he was attentive, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Top marks.
