Breakfast/lunch spot. Kawamoto was closed so we found this place nearby. I'm glad that we discovered this place as well. Since it was our first time, I asked the server to pick whatever for us and she took her time and listed each item and explained what it was. We went later in the day so it wasn't as fresh but still very delicious.

I got here at 630 in the morning. It’s where all the locals are picking up both breakfast as well as their lunches for later.
I asked them to make surprise me and put together a bento that would travel well on the plane. It did not disappoint! I was the luckiest person on my flight back to the mainland. What a treat. It’s great to see these places these old Hilo establishments still being an important part of the community.

I loved eating here! Kinda became obsessed haha but it is so delicious and really the only thing open early mornings in downtown hilo, always welcoming and friendly! I’ll be missing it and looking forward for when I return

I just happen to be walking down the street and I walked into this tiny little restaurant, I ordered a fried egg patty with rice also macaroni salad and some round little fried thing, sorry I don't know what it's called It was, very surprised how good it was... after I ate it I couldn't wait to go back but because I found it on my walk I couldn't find it again on my trip to Hilo, now I have flown back to the mainland but I'm craving going to this restaurant where I live we don't have anything like it or else I would try to go find something similar, place itself is kind of ugly on a street where it's rare that they even put names up of businesses I didn't know this place was even open as all businesses on the street look to be dark and closed which is really strange but I'm glad I happen to walk in and make a purchase because I'll never forget how good this restaurant is.

Rude staff at the front today. Food looked old & barely had anything to choose from at 9am.

Always good. If you know what you want to get then I highly recommend calling in your order. Food sells out quickly! Must try the fried chicken, spring rolls with the dipping sauce, korroke, nori chicken, warabi salad.

Vegetarian options: Tofu salad, warabi, moyashi.

Kid-friendliness: Kids will enjoy the food.

Soo good! Lots of great options at a good price. People working are very kind and patient if youre like me and unfamiliar with the items. Very good fried chicken, nori, croquette, spam musubi but pretty much everything I had was good, like a sampler. Arrived about 8 am and there was a line of about 3 people in front of me and it moved quickly. Food was packaged really well too. Will be back

A very affordable and friendly Hawaiian comfort food place. Great place to grab a quick breakfast before heading out for a day of exploration.

EVERYTHING WAS SO YUM!! I’ve never been here before in all my years of living in hilo, but oh what a treat it was!! All was packaged up so beautifully and neat and the customer service was awesome :) my favorites were to nori chicken, deep fried fish, fish patty, and sweet potato!!!
