We went to Cronies and James suggested we try the most amazing creme brulee bread pudding, covered in carmel and served with ice cream. We renamed it Date Night for Lonely Girls because it was so amazing you don't need anything else to make you happy. Seriously amazing!! The rest of the food was good too but man, that dessert! 10 out of 10, recommend!!

Great little bar and grill with wide variety of food. Yes, extremely close to water, but disappointed (as tourists) we couldn't see the ocean from the location. That's OK tho. Our server was amazing!!! He went above and beyond and gave us so many great recommended local recs of places to go and visit. Unfortunately we were staying in Kona, so we were only in Hilo for the day.

We had a great duvet there this evening, I had a nice Ono salad, my wife and mother in-law had decided to share a turkey club, the kitchen actually separated the meal onto 2 plates for them. That was a nice touch. The wait staff very nice and the meal was served rather quickly.
I would love to eat there again

I have ate at Cronies several times and they have great food and service! The reason for this review, however is my experience there today. My best friend from Texas was visiting and we had been walking and shopping out in the heat for quite awhile. We are both senior citizens and great grandmothers and realized we needed water. We stopped in at Cronies to see if it would be possible to just order water. We were promptly given two to-go cups of water on the house! Thank you Cronies!
