“Millie's Deli received 5/5 stars for its incredible lunch offerings. The pastrami sandwich on sourdough was a standout, with thinly sliced, smoky pastrami piled high on toasted bread and served with tangy pickles. The kalua pork spinach wrap was another highlight, with its harmonious balance of flavors and textures. The wrap was soft and scrumptious, with tender and savory kalua pork, pepper cream cheese and sweet Thai chili sauce, fresh veggies and sprouts, all working together in perfect harmony. I ate the wrap so quickly I forgot to take a photo…we will certainly be back!“

“I can't say too much about the food here, but I hear it's pretty solid!I almost exclusively come here for the rainbow bread. Usually a whole box of it, plus a loaf to eat while I'm in Hilo. This is a must-visit spot for me when I come here. This past visit, I had some of the cookies and they were AMAZING. So now, I guess I'm coming here for bread and cookies!Will definitely try the food next time, too! The menu was a good size and I love a good plate lunch!“

“We stopped in the Kea'au deli to try out the food and we were pleasantly surprised with the selection even though we came later in the day so many things were sold out.We settled on two solids, a scone, and a portobello mushroom sandwich, all of which were delicious and the total was $30.There is not a sit-down area in this particular spot, so this is more of a takeaway station. They will heat up your sandwiches if needed, and they do fresh breakfast sandwiches and a variety of baked goods.The salad was really good, it was fig, spring mix, tomatoes and goat cheese with a house vinaigrette and it also comes with a sizable biscuit that was cheddar and rosemary.If you're looking for a quick takeaway lunch, this is great spot!

Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian focused sandwiches such as a portobello mushroom and a bunch of salads.

Wheelchair accessibility: There isn't a great option for wheelchair access, there is a parking spot that would allow offloading that isn't marked as wheelchair accessible, but there isn't a way to easily get into the storefront and items are high up.“
