“I tried the veggie dog. I wasn't sure if I would like it because of the "sourkrout". It was delicious but I was given a huge amount of diced tomato even though I asked for no tomatoes. 5 stars for the food, 4 stars for service for getting my order wrong.

I go back another day and placed an order. After a while I get called forward and tell me they are out of veggie dogs. I called a couple of weeks later and they didn't have any that day.

The facility is clean and simple with only a small table, so you will probably have to eat somewhere else. 4 stars for atmosphere.

“I'm so happy to see Hot Dog On A Stick in Hilo, Hawai'i. It's been years since the last time I visited one, because they closed a number of their stores in California and in Maui. “I wanted to see what all of the hype was about Korean corn dogs. Korean corn dogs have a batter that is made of rice flour and fried in hot oil, so they are very crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, like fried mochi. Some of them have little cubes of potato mixed into the batter so they are like crispy French fries on the outside.I was very excited to find out that "Corn Dogs by Mr. Cow" in Hilo has Korean corn dogs and wanted to try them while I have the opportunity. They were terrific! Very tasty! Not healthy, but definitely fun to experience Korean street food.You can get a sausage on the inside or mozzarella or cheddar cheese, or you can get half sausage, half cheese.We got one Mr. Cow Classic outside with half sausage, half cheddar inside, one Fried Potato outside with half sausage, half mozzarella inside, and one Flaming Potato with flaming Cheeto crumbs on the outside. We also got the cheese balls. Piggies! Highly recommend for a yummy Korean street food experience!“
