To be candid, I'd pretty much stopped going to McDonald's because the food wasn't that great. This time was very different. I arrived to this location with no trash to be found in the parking lot. I was greeted at the door with a smile and asked if I needed any help. I ordered via the kiosk, but couldn't recall how to use my code and someone jumped right in to help. The food was ready in about 3 minutes and the order was correct even with my special requests....

Big and clean, very quick for pickup orders. Went there everyday for three days when I was in Hilo. The cone was huge haha thanks! I loved the taro pie too, have to give it a try! It’s only in Hawaii

If I have time to stop, this is my fav McDonald’s on island. Always do curbside and I love the sweet lady with the piercings she makes my day whenever I see her! Great staff, best hashbrowns, and the ice cream machine is never broken
