A popular Hilo neighborhood Japanese eatery with a wide range of menu items, all well prepared. We tried the corn ribs, sautéed eggplant and sushi rolls. Bento boxes looked like good value. Would definitely go again.
The tempura and carpaccio as starters were great. Innovative cocktails, and always service with a smile. My duck was very tasty, which was part of a "Fall Menu." If they keep exploring with seasonal menus, I will be going back on a regular basis.
They were actually out of the menu item I came for, but what I chose was good too. The music is set so loud that it is hard to converse with your table mate when the restaurant is half full.
