This place is a little hole in the wall but it's amazing! We had the pork musubi and the spam supreme both were killer. To top it off, the Kimchi was probably the best we've ever had! The chef came out to ask how the food was and said the Kimchi is his personal recipe.
It was not busy when we went, but it should be! It's definitely worth a stop when you're in Hilo.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We had the BBQ pork and Spam Supreme. The flavor was on point. The rice-to-protein ratio were perfect. And seriously the BEST kimchi I’ve ever had. It’s the chef/owner’s own recipe, and it seriously shows. You have to try this place when in Hilo.

Delicious! We ordered two kinds of musubis and they were amazing, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the spam was just right. But what we loved the most was the kindness and warmth of the staff who helped us. They were attentive, friendly, and truly the ones who make this place special. Got takeout on a Friday evening. Restaurant was completely dead.
Musubi was 90% rice. I feel like I paid for a big rice ball. Seaweed was so chewy; it doesn't break when you take a bite and everything falls out the back.
Got some pork sliders too. Meat was dry. And toothpicks shoved all the way into the sliders so that you don't know they are there until you take a big bite.

Food was excellent, server was amazing, cook was awful in actions constantly ringing bell so much that many customers commented on it, then the cook came out and greeted everyone but then stepped out in front of restaurant and proceeded to blow boogers out of his nose right in front of everyone eating, DISGUSTING!!! I won't be back just due to seeing that...
My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night and ended up being the only ones in the restaurant which we didn’t mind. Everything is very clean, staff was nice and checked on us often, seems to be a newer restaurant so it’s very nice and a calm atmosphere. We each had the pot roast and it was incredible! The meat was super tender and juicy, the veggies were perfectly cooked and it felt like a home made meal. We tried the Kalua sliders and buffalo chicken quesadilla and both were awesome!

Got the onion pizza appetizer and it came out as raw onion w cheese on top. Order took an hour because of the pizza bites and they weren't cooked at all. My first visit, I got cold shrimp tacos, my partners appetizer came out last because they forgot to put it in and the service was extremely slow. Over all 0 for 2 visits. The other food was great though which is a bummer.
