Came here everyday during my trip. The coffee was great and they had multiple non-dairy options aside from milk. They have a cute gift shop area for the chocolate portion. The atmosphere is cute and cozy as well.

A very noisy and unpleasant place to sit there. I sat on the side of the cash register after one of the workers agreed, then Ammashit arrived and said that it is not possible to sit on the side of the store. Expensive and not such a loss. I sat outside to find a quiet corner.

We came here and got the frozen hot chocolate and banana chocolate smoothies and they were so good! The chocolate is very rich and doesn’t taste artificial.

We were looking for coffee other than Char-bucks. Found this place that had a most excellent caramel mocha where I added a macadamia syrup shot! So yummy. While I waited, I looked around at their small shop and picked up some honey-coffee macadamia nuts! So good. So, skip char-sucks and go see the people at Puna Chocolate Company!
Amazing staff and great drinks! Super unexpected for a chocolate spot but I'll be back for dang sure.

An expensive splurge. Alcoholic drinks were skimpy, after all the ingredients were put in glass I thought would have been fuller. Staff friendly.

Great little chocolate shop. Stopped there a couple of times and it was great each time. If you are in Hilo you have to make this place part of your trip.

Did not feel welcomed here. Chocolate sample was offered to everyone except us. The drink was just okay but nothing special.
Edit: to the owner - the employee went around with samples, going to 2 different white couples. We were the only Asian couple and they did not even come our way. Of course we can ask, but she skipped us while saying out loud "here are some samples for you to try".
As for us not being engaged? We were staring at your the whole time, smiling.
This is the same employee that snapped at me for repeating a word I misheard when I was ordering a drink. She looked angry.
