Unexpected great Thai food in Hilo. If it wasn't for the great ratings from other people we never would've chosen this place. Definitely a hole in the wall that lived up to its rating. The food was freshly prepared from basically scratch by a very friendly old lady when we ordered it. We got the fresh rolls, pad Thai, papaya salad and a soup, all were fantastic. Our favourite (our photo doesn't do it justice) is the pad Thai. Check it out if you're in Hilo!...
I travel the entire country for work. One thing I searched for Everywhere I Go is great Thai food. I can honestly say that this place has the best panang curry I have ever had. The Tom kha soup is amazing as well. The woman that runs this place works the entire establishment by herself. She prepares every meal One Plate at a Time and does so with a smile on her face that makes you happy to be there.
Eat in or take out ~ impeccably clean kept Thai Kitchen fast hands..very skilled.. Limited hours.. Authentic Thai food always FRESH! Limited number of tables available..All created and served by one Thai wahine!
